Don't worry about it. the white smoke is not steam. The compression gasses made within the engine are burnt after being channelled into the inlet. So, don't get sleepless nights thinking of this. P.S. keep the fluids and oil checked and topped up and drive ,.... TT.

Surely the user will be happy of your choice . Does the car's a/c work?. Any idea of maintenance history? - as the engine has a t belt. The joke of a local agent would'nt give you the time of the day,.. let alone help you with your car,.☺️☺️

Does the engine show signs of low compression/old age? at your van's age I won't ask for the milage because it would have been clocked many a time .Does it start easily when hot? Get the glow plugs checked individually . A qualified auto electritian can do this.

The pump is leaking internally. replace the pump along with a new filter.

In a morning after cooling over night, slowly open the rad cap., does gas pressure relese when you do so? and is there any coolant reduction from the radiator? TT.

There's no such thing as a tune up for your car,..just get new plugs, air filter,and clean the throttle body and chk the pcv.Your idle speed is electronically set by the ECU. How have you maintained the transmission? get the fluid and filter changed at TL.

Your autobox may be showing signs of old age (11 years old). Get it serviced. and get the engine/trans mounts checked + your brakes for binding.

Since 99% of the driving is done on 2H,start with the rear diff. most pajero's of the V46 LWB have a LSD on the back. use SAE 140. You might also want to follow on a routene lubing of the front suspension/steering joints + front/rear propshaft 'u' joints. Cheers. -

If you are getting one, get one with a good maintenance history. as tbelt replacements and atf changes are vital . The diesel gives you power and efficiency .
