"Come give me some love brother" ...thnx for the comments skipper....the buttons your reffering to could be the memory seat functions...we could have got down tha 2.4L (177bhp)...but with the 2.0T (turbo) FSi (170bhp)....there's only a 7 bhp difference. And the turbo gives much better power when you need it! Also yes, it does log heads with tha E class & the 5 Series. I'll let ya'll know when the new batch of cars arrive and lets organise a photo-shoot and a test drive for AL. Cheers

A) Bro those 1.9TDi A4s pack a hell of a lot of torque! B)Its pointless getting down a used car cos you would be paying more or less the amount of a brand new RS4....we can all thank the individual(s) who set the taxes.. ...to get down a new RS4, it will cost around Rs.45million (+ 20% VAT) Well you saw the car first hand Peri , other than the drive feel of it, whats your unbiased opinion of the car in terms of looks (interior/exterior) when compared to the competitors?

The particular A4 your reffereing to is actually a Diesel... 1.9TDi (6 forward manual)...thats got the S4 body kit. The S-line kit actually is a bit different. If you have seen a black Audi A4 with special side skirts and a lip with SILVER side-mirrors and 17" rims bearing a HX-xxxx registeration.. thats got the S-Line package. This car is actually chipped and produces 220bhp as opposed to the 163bhp which comes for the standard Audi A4 (1.8Turbo). There are couple of MTM tuned cars, but the issue is; if the client wants the car chipped, he/she will loose the 2yr warranty. As for the twin exhausts, thats more or less a trademark with Audi design. However this too was an option earlier. The new generation Audis which are imported come with the twin exhaust as a standard function. but if the client want a single exhaust, that could be done without a cost.

Ha ha ha.... sorted and resorted! Two cars with two different reputations and plenty of respect!

A) Firstly all "S" series Audis are Quattros. Not All TTs are Quattro. C) Quattro comes as an extra option for the standard Audis (A3, A4, A6, A8, TT etc...) D) For under Rs.10million you also have the choice of the NEW Passat. A pretty decent car with a decent interior and enough power for a day to day car. If your really keen, you can also check out the Golf GTi but I understand that it doesnt serve the purpose of a family sedan....even the 407 is a pretty smart looking car and shouldn't be ignored.

There shall be NO clear cut answer as if to WHICH car is better...each one is entitled to their respective opinions. What we see on vids cant be used as 'concrete' evidence...thats just not enough in proving a point in something like this. Anyways as I sai, being a Honda fan; given the two cars, my string of drool will swing towards tha GT-R...but hey, NSX is one niceass car .

Sorry machang, but i give credit where it's due...and the GT-R is by far the Best thing from Asia when it comes to a car of this nature (my opinion)....YES the NSX is a legend and impressive and has the looks ..++++...but this is a GT-R we're talking abt man..... , but hey we @ tha "Honda camp" appreciate your words of credit

Devinda, There are NO (real) RS6 versions in SL..no (real) S4 versions in SL either. There are TWO S8 versions in SL however. One belongs to some Ministry and the other can be seen @ Senok. There are couple of Quattro versions in SL running around, but they are from the previous generations. On a more related note, the Audi A6 is much better when compared to the competitors. I'm not been biased abt this but ya'll can drop in @ tha showroom somewhere in March and check the validity of my statement. (I can just see Peri loading his gun to shoot me ...this is NOT marketing bro)... but I do agree when one states that Mercedes Benz own a major market share and enjoy a major market presence in SL!

Well... I maybe a gun-ho Honda fan...BUT for me a GT-R will ALWAYS be a GT-R...the NSX from it's contours may represent the "super-car" look...but a GT-R....daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn man....it'll just eat up the NSX and spit it out on any given day...hey thats just my opinion....

Ahem... anyone considered the new Audi A4 as a choice?

Well machang...let me assume you know Mr. Nigel Perera (who doesnt! ) ... and YES, he did issue an open invitation/challenge towardsa the 'new' NSX for a drag....but that never materialised...he spoke more in terms of facts rather than confidence (which Mr. Perera hold a reputation for!)...there you go...thats what happened (in short)... to be honest, I'm a big Honda fan...bt I would rather have a (perhaps a bit modded) DC5 to run around in rather than a NSX on our local roads...but hey, NSX is a 'cult' car, so props up to the respective owners.

Such a plain looking car!!! so so outdated too ...... I can think of a much better looking, better powered, better all around competitor........bt i wont even give a hint...cos I know Peri is waiting to catch me trying to embark on my Marketing activity here .....he he he

Yep..if I recall correctly the car had the original rims even last week....I noticed the new rims this morning...have to admit, the car looks hot

Peri the car is in Col...it comes to Negombo almost everyday...and heads back towards Col in e eves....guess the respective owner has some interest in Negombo. Saw the car today in the morning, i dnt whether you guys noticed but the new NSX has got blackish/dust gold rims now...looks pretty decent.

Thats the new NSX with automatic transmission....know a lot of people who claim to see the car parked at a place close to my house in Negombo.

Flippin Hell ... I've seen this silver 300zx... but never knew it was in Negombo. I've seen a Silver Supra, a black Supra a couple of STi s...but not this...anyways thnx for the info and the pics boys.... Devinda, Just to inform you bro.... "this" NSX is in Sri Lanka...in Colombo- 03 to be exact..even TODAY...gathering dust and sealed away in a lonely Garage! The owner is in Australia apparently and is planning to get another NSX imported (according to his dad). He also owns one of the few 300ZX (Twin Turbo) versions in the Country too. I'm refering to the Red car. I saw BOTH these cars with my own eyes, parked at their garage., and took the liberty of speaking to the proud owners father, who was a Gentleman. Also I read someone saying there is another 300XZ (Twin Turbo) in NEGOMBO? ...funny, I live in Negombo and I have never seen a 300zx there....kinda interested to know who the owner is ... so all in all I guess there are only "two" NSX s? The older (manual transmission) car and the new (automatic transmission) NSX... but hey...who knows...afterall this is Sri Lanka...where crazy S**t goes down, when it comes to cars! Cheers, -A
