  1. The b$%&$rd! How dare he?!
  2. LOL!
  3. Lovely news indeed!
  4. We're experts on Sinhalese slang terms, aren't we, Komi?!
  5. Congratulations, you made the right choice! You're more than welcome to share photos on this thread. A 5K engine means it's a 1.5DX. How many Kms on the ODO? Does it still have the original steel wheels? I'll dig up some old invoices and get you some shop details for parts. These were bought at the 'watthe though.
  6. Ah....memories? EDIT: 88 rego means it's a 15SRI or early 16SRI. Ours was registered in March '89 so we got 16SRI 30XX plates.
  7. Tough as nuts! This or an FJ40 though? (I'd go with an FJ40... )
  8. That article is from Classic Ford, isn't it? I love that mag, got two copies for 50 each at those stock clearance sales... I've never seen a Grenada before, looks mean!
  9. The thermo fan arrangement is very rare on these. I think most JDM KE72 wagons have the clutch fan (or something) for the radiator whereas I've seen some KE70/AE70 sedans in other markets with the thermo fans. The clutch fan has to have a shroud that goes around the fan for adequate cooling when the AC is working. If not, it'll overheat. So, you've got a DX too? What year/registration is it? Is it in good nick?
  10. LOL good one!
  11. LOLOLOLOL!!!
  12. Looks great, especially that number plate!
  13. Cool photo!
  14. LOL E for experience is one large filing cabinet in neck of the woods!
  15. As much as I wanted to, mother said a warning was sufficient!
  16. That's a shame, Sampath! My neighbour's kids light crackers on New Year's eve and in 2012/2013 one sky rocket went astray and landed on my CE106V's car cover. (the poor girl is parked outside and is covered with a weather-resistant car cover; no garage space!) Obviously when morning came, there were sizable chunks missing from the car cover and the white car surfaces were charred. Thankfully for those brats, the car wasn't harmed and the charred marks were washed away. The cover however had to be repaired.
  17. Tell me, what is IT?
  18. HAAHAHA!
  19. Most of these Japanese vehicles have manuals in Japanese. Your best bet is to locate the model (correct engine/trim levels) that was sold elsewhere and look for a downloadable copy.
  20. I'm Airwolf's number one fan! (well, in Sri Lanka anyway!) As cheesy as Season 4 was (it wasn't officially Season 4 but a spinoff), it was the first TV show my 5 year old mind saw back in the day. Needless to say, it got me hooked on aviation!
  21. That sounds about right, thanks!
  22. Thanks for taking me back to those days too! Also, do you remember 'Helicops' on ITN? German TV show with a Eurocopter EC145...
  23. Thanks! I won't let her go that easily, not even for a Levin! So this AE85 has a 4AC engine, does it?
