  1. UNIX, I meant the plaque in the engine bay. Yup, that's where the identification plate is. Mine is a 16SRI and was registered in 1989, so 17- would probably be 1990-1991. Chrome isn't bad on these, but you need the bumpers to really set it off! I love your "C" logo on the grille!
  2. Nice example, UNIX! It's actually a KE70 low roof van. Tell me what the identification plate says on the firewall if possible. Were the door handles chrome or were they added after it was imported?
  3. This particular design looks the best-the sunken front. and here's the WIP thread of the yellow panno- http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php/69174-82-KE70-16v-Panel-Van
  4. Sorry to hear about the Celica iRage! Don't you worry though, you'll find a gorgeous project car eventually!
  5. LOLOL! You should have told him the truth after a couple of days!
  6. Best wishes on your birthday, Magnum! Enjoy-
  7. KE70 2 door wagon (panelvan or "pannos" for short) probably from Australia. Am I correct? I'm fond of the two door wagons but I like the panels to be glass and not covered like in this example. The JDM stuff are better looking though! KE70 sedans and wagons were built in Australia for their markets which is why they have 'slant nose' models as well. Over to you, iRage!
  8. Yikes! What's the story behind this incident?
  9. Totally bad a$$? (Mitsubishi Lancer 1600GSR) YOU BET! ...and here's one for vintage TOYOTA fans- (Toyota Celica ST185)
  10. That's good to hear. Post photos when you've got the time.
  11. I don't log in for one day and you lot are fighting over me? Why doesn't this happen with the ladies? LOL!
  12. :sport-smiley-004:
  13. I'm a HUGE fan of anything vintage JDM! Would've preferred fender mirrors on this one though! lol
  14. Shame about that rear end, iRage! If you buy it, you can turn it into this-
  15. It would've been funnier if he just crossed-out the "S" mark with tape instead of removing it completely!
  16. Brutal? YES!
  17. The only thing missing is a d-pad and a qwerty keyboard!
  18. iRage, I have those photos saved in my 'vault'! That's a KE73G isn't it? Those wheels were the ones I saw on the metallic grey DX, but the body didn't have the 'wagon' trim on it. Maybe it was resprayed. It's times like this I wish I owned a camera phone! :sleeping-smiley-008:
  19. WOW! If it was indeed a Trueno (TE37) it's really rare. I think you're correct regarding the wheels. KE10s and KE15 Sprinters originally had large chrome wheel covers that cover most of the wheel and it looks odd when you see one without the cover. Here's an example- So I think the red KE10 is missing the covers and nothing more! Also, I saw a beautifully mint 16sri Toyota DX in metallic grey that literally took my breath away! The car was all original and the wheel caps were pristine! This had the wagon steel wheels so it might be a KE73G. Either way, GORGEOUS! My waggs has a looooong way to go to be that mint!
  20. This gorgeous KE10 is for sale...in the US! Beautiful, unrestored and all original! (well, except those wheels, but at least they match!)
  21. Why does the Blue Allion have a chrome "balcony railing" on the bumper? INDIANS!
  22. Nice work man! I've got to get my fan shroud fixed and the AC running...ah the thought of an air conditioned KE72 cabin!
  23. Overall that's not bad at all! It would look great after some elbow grease!
