  1. I'd be worried about damaging a Capri too!
  2. Thanks man! I'll be trying it out tomorrow or on Saturday. This aftermarket unit looks great but it'll start to yellow after a couple of months no doubt!
  3. Awesome, Schiffer! Did you completely separate the lens from the housing or did you work with a small gap?
  4. LOLOLOL!
  5. If I may add to this- I replaced one headlamp assembly on my father's CE106V with an aftermarket lamp assembly and I noticed condensation on the inside of the lens after driving in the night. I think the heat generated from the bulb condensates on the lens as it cools. What can I do to correct this? I noticed that there are certain areas where the lens meets the plastic housing that are not sealed adequately. I was thinking of running some silicone along the edges.
  6. Multitaskers...they're everywhere!
  7. One word- AWESOME! Please post photos of this when you've got the time. As for the parts; I'm unsure but I'm pretty sure you can get some parts locally. If not, you can always import parts from Australia/USA as these cars are still popular there. Best of luck!
  8. I've seen the bottom AE86 article before. It's in Belgium or another European country and the writer isn't writing the address of the owner! Both owners are an inspiration to us all.
  9. Thanks iRage!. Is this car still on sale? Looks like a tough project though!
  10. Thanks for the link, Sampath! My KE72 has black carpets with the C COROLLA logo and script in yellow. I had something similar on the transmission 'hump' but it was grey with the script in white. Sadly it disappeared sometime in the early 2000s. This particular car is very original and looks great. He's even got the wheel caps! Hope it goes to a good owner!
  11. Hmmm...now that you mention it, it does look like the old Gallant!
  12. Is it a Proton...something? Looks very similar.
  13. Your car doesn't look too bad without the bumpers so take your time and track down a good set later on. As for the wheels, you'll have to build the widened steel wheels yourself or you can use a van wheel or something. I've seen so many KE72s with the Townace/Liteace steel wheels. Something like this- What it looks like- Here's a great article (and a tutorial) on widening steel wheels. You'll need original Lancer steel wheels for that 'period correct' look though. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2006/02/Steelies/ Cheers!
  14. That script on the grille looks like it starts with "G". Gloria maybe? I'm sure iRage will identify it correctly!
  15. Erm, that red thing on the bike wasn't in the original image...
  16. Funny, but there's a sad story behind that photo... SOme deranged driver drove at speed into the contestants of that bicycle race and killed many... But still, that's one funny edit!
  17. LOL I missed that! :speechless-smiley-004:
  18. I've seen one or two of these on the roads and they're gorgeous! The best way for you to acquire parts and much needed information is to join a foreign Morris owners' forum. They've got classifieds that have these rare bits for reasonable prices. I'll also keep my eyes open for parts when I'm trolling the internets. And Crosswind is correct- we're crazy for restoration threads so start a thread on your car now! Regards.
  19. Why does this keep happening?! I'm sure he'll get the senior driver decal and re advertise if the car doesn't sell! And the rear windshield wiper's sole purpose is to scratch the rear glass with the dust and debris it acquires...there's no washer nozzle!
  20. D'OH! You're right, the quad lamps were the '79 models. This front end is similar to the Australian wagons and sedans from '83. You're good, iRage! There was a 13SRI KE70 sedan in red for something like 300,000 a few weeks back. I might have kept the details of the ad, I'll find it for you.
  21. LOLOLOL! Where's that Civic guy from Australia when you need him!
  22. Dirty mind, you!
  23. Yup, the 14sri example. I'm guessing it's a '79 model.
  24. Nice knob and even nicer to see it facing the right way! So you're a four speed too! Annoying at times, innit?!
  25. Shame indeed!
