Hi If you happen to buy a classic car with the old registraion book (as the owner who owned it since 1985 has not upgraded it to the computerised sheet) is there a problem in transferring it to your name at the RMV??? will those buggers at RMV make u go from table to table?? or ask for bribes???? i thought (not sure) that all owners were asked to transfer to the new computerised sheet way back in the lat 1990's by the Govt thanks for ur hlep in advance! rman

There was a lancer cb8 (1993 model) for sale for 650/- its a diesel car (64- series) but has the following faults a/c cooler very weak needs a new paint one cylinder slightly weak but united moters had told the owner that it can go for another 60 000 kms other than that it seems ok is it a good price?? whats the price of this make and the diesel version??

Dude It looks like the belt, its also worthwile to check the bearings,last year I had a similar noise in the AC and to see the bearings were gone when the AC has not been used for a longtime its best if u get it serviced fully and then use it,u may need to change the oil seals as weel hope this helps

Hi Guys and Gals One of my friends is thinking of buying a brand new Maruti a and as such i need to some help from u guys as I dont have much experiences in a Maruit other than a 19 - car owned by a friend which i have used and didnt like it at all!! anyways how good is the latest Maruti in terms of i) Fuel economy in city and outstation ii) Is the car hardy enough for our roads? iii) Does is pull well with AC and 4 adults inside???? (i think older version had an issue) iv) How is the 2nd hand value for re-sale v) Is the body very corrosion prone??? vi) what happened to all the old Maruti's? I believe a forum such as this should be for the good of all motorists and and I posted a message asking abt a particular car sale at kohuwela (Patrick Mendis's sale) at 63 dutugemunu street,whether anyone had bought cars from him?? is he reliable etc all i wanted to know was if its a good place if any one had any prior experiences there (good or bad) ,but alas my post has been deleted from the forum if thats how its going to happen then its no use of a motoring forum like this,for example if someone complains of a garage where u get ripped off then its for the good of all motorists and but if good reports are coming abt a garage or a car sale then they too would benefit unless there are vested interests in this site i dont see any reason why my post was deleted dotn make autolanka look like the Lake House Papers pls!
