The auto cut off is the very first fail-safe to prevent spillage. Depending on the vehicle, you can pump anything from 2 to 5 liters more if you want a full tank to the brim. It's more accurate this way if you're a stickler on measuring consumption at every top up. And to your question; there is no harm in rounding up the figure. I do it all the time.

For once this guy made some sense

You do know that the Sri Lanka police and armed forces ALSO has those very same jobs right?

How to calculate fuel consumption: 1. Pump a full tank of fuel. 2. Reset the trip meter to zero. 3. Use the car as you nowmally would till you consume about 3/4 of the tank. 4. Top up fuel to a full tank. Observe the amount of petrol pumed. 5. Observe distance traveled as per trip meter. Fuel consumption = DistanceTravelled / FuelPumpedTheSecondTime

Looks like the junction between lakehouse and WTC. (camera pointing from WTC towards Lakehouse, road going right ends up at president's office)

On what basis do they require you to have 'prior permission'? -
exactly! You buy a silver FB15 and you become the source for thousands of FB15 owners who now have a replacement mirror which doesn't even need a respray Or you go buy a Ford Mondeo, the chances are that the thief will be back begging you to buy your own mirror

No, you cant say that. The value of the ruppee has dropped a lot since then, so technically it HAS lost market value (which is completely normal for a car)... but i guess its not lost that much for you to loose sleep over

I smell BS. But let's see where this goes before stamping a label on this.

Is that real? I know people go overboard with tweeting and snapchatting, but this does seem retardedly overboard

I've not shot a car in about 4-5 years, and photographic tastes have changed a lot since then with things like back-lit photos and colour filters becoming popular. If you ask me you don't need to drive for hours for this. Even Marine Drive at sunset is amazing as long as the guy behind the camera knows what he's doing. These are all in and around Colombo; but yeah, no waterfalls or lakes. Marine Drive: Pamankada Autodrome: Crescat: -
too bad.. you could have been driving a Presea a lot earlier....

If the issue is only when you travel without a load, the simplest solution is carry a load. Do some charity. Offer people a ride when you go out.

dont underestimate our idiots! Last time a PETROL pipe going through a village from the habour to the storage sprung a leak, people were rushing to it with buckets and cans, and not a single f#$k was given.

That's a pretty stupid thing to do IMO.

All this talk, but I wonder if this guy has even SEEN the car in a photo. if his friend's business partner who really values the relationship, cared about Mr.Gon-Rija, he would have emailed some photos of the car I presume? Maybe Rija can share photos of this car so that we can all see what we're talking about... I am very curious to see how the reinforcement bar is damaged without the bumper being damaged.

Oddly I dont see a point of impact on the H3. Does anyone know what happened?

Actually I have a medium sized head. As for the ego, I believe you're the one with the ego so big it won't fit in a older / smaller car

#1 You say you did your homework when buying a car. I presume homework means listening to experts like iRange on the forum. But what good is your stupid homework if you dont listen to people who know better than you. iRange wasted his time on you indeed. And you're buying a aqua. Every kolla and balla has one and its not hard to find a used one in sri lanka to fit your budget. But if you wanna show off your "unregistered car" due to vanity, dont try to justify it. Just say it out loud. #2.If you can barely manage to afford the car how do you plan to spend on repairing it? and like the experts say you dont know what else needs to be replaced. #3 When you ask for advice dont ask friends. They maybe friends, but that doesnt make them experts.

So effectively you're gonna cheat the next guy you sell the car to because "no-one will know what is inside"? Anyway I get a sense that this is just a troll, and the mods should look into moderating/banning his posts. No-one who was raised by sensible parents would do something like this. Unless aquaman's parents too at one point bought a car they couldn't afford and dumped a garbage engine into it, just because they wanted to look 'posh'.

So apparently she was breastfeeding her 2 month infant while driving. The husband and older daughter too were in the car at that point of time. Though I was on the fence on this issue at first, I now feel that not only should her license be suspended but she the court should look into her parenting too. Imagine one of those crazy 177 bus drivers overtakes from the wrong side, rams the BMW head one and causes the airbags to deploy.. That child would be dead. http://www.gossiplankanews.com/2015/07/woman-arrested-over-traffic-incident-at.html

NIlantha do you also have a Aqua? The stuff you say resonates a lot with a certain Aqua group.. Everyone loosing sleep over 1kmpl and saving Rs.100 on an oil change thats done at most once in 2 months.

I dont know if I missed it, but did hoonigan mention the colour he plans to paint the car in? I've been seeing a number of non-modern cars with metalic paints, and some of those colours are so unnatural it's like a granny in a thong. It's supposed to make an ass sexy, but it's just wrong! Been seeing a lot of photos of a metallic red capri that just doesn't look right..

It's like sylvi's maka-baas spirit has returned. Anyone know what happened to unkel?
