Okay, this idea is going pretty good on other forums ... I know some of you have more to say than 3 words, so I guess you can split it up into multiple posts, but the rule is, each post still has to make sense by itself!!! ... let's "try" it here

Mani, I added you on FB mang! Name: Tuan Azmin Burah Hometown: Kirillapone, Colombo School: Wesley College (didn't complete A/L, came to USA) College: UMBC (Baltimore, USA); Grad - Dec '06 Current: Baltimore USA, working for a Industrial Machinery Design Company Learned to drive at 13 in my mum's Daihatsu Charade (thanks mum for trusting me with the car .. lol) and by 15, I was driving the family on vacations to Kandy, down south etc. Having an older bro next to me helped too. My first car was a '87 Mustang with a 4-cyl auto, DAMN THAT WAS SLOW! I've always had a thing to big American cars so while I had my daily driver I looked for the larger american cars and owned two of them over the years and got sick of the issues that come with them (older carburated models). Then I switched to GM with the Camaro. Now it's a TransAm. Hopefully the next will be the New Camaro or a Used Z06 Corvette ... or I may switch to European like a BMW or Audi ... sike!!! The Wife (Avanthi) and Myself Lol ... don't worry about the hands squeezing my boobies ... lol, I have boobies

yeah, saw this on another forum. Really crappy work. A blindfolded drunk monkey with one hand tied behind his back could do a better job. It sickens me to see how shops try to get away with shit like this. When I used to work in the auto service industry, I made every effort to give the customer more than they paid for 'cos that's how you keep customers and bring in more by their word or mouth advertising

Nissan Refuses To Replace “abused” Gt-r Transmission
Mean Green z28 replied to GearHead's topic in General Automotive
I posted the actual forum thread about the guy's experience with Nissan in the other thread about the GT-R. VDC in this case does NOT mean Vehicle Dynamic control; in this case it is Vehicle Differential Control and is only supposed to be turned off if you're stuck in mud/snow and to rock the car to get it out ... this is a lame ass attempt at trying to void warranties. If a car came with Launch control and it required disabling the VDC to access it, AND a big part of their advertising was this function and level of performance, it should be covered under warranty. It's not like the owner has to go under the hood and swap out a wiring harness plug to activate it, it's right there on the damn center console and activated in like 2-3 seconds. They either need to warranty this f**kup of theirs or disable the whole function by a dealer recall program, or offer to buy the cars back (like Mazda did with the RX7 Autos) and disable this in future production and start advertising the 4+ sec. 0-60 times that's possible without Launch control. -
Some of you already saw the pics of this car, for those who didn't... http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/PAFOPE...590449954291730 http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/PAFOPE...590455814978226 http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/PAFOPE...590464861951362 http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/PAFOPE...590468171233794 Best run (8.39 @ 167) and 1213hp dyno pull (part of the dyno challenge) http://home.comcast.net/~tfranklin5580/10-..._8p39_small.wmv http://home.comcast.net/~tfranklin5580/1213hp_dyno_small.wmv This all was with it having some valvetrain issues and not being able to get to max rpm/boost ... this car is gonna be a beast next year after all the bugs are worked out this winter.

That the T-Rex ... http://www.campagnamotors.com/T-REX/specs.html ... this one at the track is turbocharged too so it's ridiculous!!! I believe It's based off the Kawi ZX14 Engine which pumps out almost 200HP anyway and with the turbo, it's just asking to roast the tires ... well he did have traction issues -

yeah he has not still done a full throttle launch using the trans brake. He only foot brakes it and just barely gets the revs up until it barely moves and just lets go and punches the throttle at the light. He still manages a 1.19 60' time with a 7.6* ET which is some crazy G's and the car is capable of .9* sec 60' times on the transbrake which will put him in the low 7's for sure. He just got it early this year so he's still getting used to it, maybe later this year or next year he'll be ready to go full balls to the wall!!! -

Camaro powertrain is in the new White TransAm and the Camaro is going to be sold soon. Some pics I've been playing with... everything but the car and the sky is in black&white ... kinda messed up a bit near the fender and am lazy to do it again. http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/Photoc...563972577304450 Clear Hood http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/Photoc...564033596473586 Clear racing stripes on hood http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/Photoc...564153220760546 Clear hood http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/Photoc...564300970542722 Everything but the car was slightly desaturated to bring out the color of the car (which was brightened/etc. a bit). http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/Photoc...564449923511378 -
I hear the GT-R fanboys are also not admitting that the GT-R transmission is a piece of crap. Even Nissan only managed like 35 launches before it had to be replaced http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=25361

Take a look here ... http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?action=v...=3&pcid=101 ... hope it's okay to post this 'cos it's a US company and its only to show him the type of product. It's the second one down. Uses and bypass pipe like a Y and then an electronic throttle body to open close the bypass ... this can be installed anywhere you like ie, before muffler, before cats, etc. Here's how I installed them on a corvette (this was a custom build by me) using only the electric butterflies and installed before the mufflers towards the back of the car. This is them installed at the front right out the engine on a 300C SRT-8 ... this thing was loud!!! I've installed a ton of them for customers and it's by far the easiest and most simple way of getting an Open exhaust but have the ability to cap it off for daily duty.
