From my experience. I think its normal and it will go away after some time.
-
Now its 18 rupees more per liter... thats why they say "I dont need sex... Government f**k me everyday"
-
Nothing will happen. I think, octane rating for your car is 87 or higher.

is there anyway to clean the inside surace. mine has slightly dark diesel smoke kind of thing inside.

Any Idea where to buy a burned out motor. All I need is a timing wheel inside the motor.
-
Hi All My 121 corolla drivers' side power shutter timing has been changed. It goes up and automatically comes halfway down. But it goes down and stays there without any issue. This happens only when automatic mode used. When you pull up and hold (manual mode), it works fine. Any idea where to look for this kinda matter.

Does it go away after engine/gear box warm up.?

First of all im not a expert on this BUT, Does it have any small delay in reversing. Have you taw a vehicle using your car?

Hi People, I just grabbed this portion from NGK web site, Thought it would be helpful. Q: How much of a performance improvement can I expect from changing plugs? A: A common misconception is that changing spark plugs will result in a large power increase. In most cases, removing even seriously worn out spark plugs will only result in very modest power gains, typically about 1-2% of total engine output. This could be even less for computer-controlled vehicles, primarily because most newer vehicles have more powerful ignition systems and the vehicle's computer can make adjustments so that vehicle operation seems smoother and more seamless. Many people think that simply supplying more spark to the firing tip can and will combust more fuel. What they don't understand is that most newer cars' engines are so efficient that they are already burning all of the available fuel. Simply adding more spark voltage can't burn more fuel because there is no more fuel to burn. When a stock or near-stock engine is given a fresh set of spark plugs, peak efficiency is restored. The power gains that come from this restored state of tune are usually minimal. Any company that tells you that their spark plug will provide significant gains in power in a stock or near-stock engine is making blanket statements that may not be supportable. To add to the story, my cars' plugs (Denso) are 40,000Km's old and still performing well. What Im so surpriced is, my service manual says to change sprak plugs every 120,000Km's.

Moisture can be achieved with a proper tune up. TRUE. I didn’t say I want water from my exhaust to drink when Im thirsty. Nano devices are not for generating water. What I said was its a good sign (moisture) that some characteristic in petrol has changed by this nano device without doing a tune up. And my gas milage has increased more than 1 Km per liter. And that’s my experience. (Now I have a scangauge II (a OBD scanner) and I can check my nano thing using that). And you are criticizing it without doing a proper investigation. Maybe be some web site say it does not work, but Im talking from my real life experience. And do me a favor. Can you pls tell me a good place to tune up my car. But I don’t want a place to clean spark plugs (i do it with my own ultrasonic cleaner), setting the proper electrode width and throttle body, air flow sensor and all the other stuff i cleaned and tuned them my self. WHAT I AM ASKING IS A PLACE to change air-to-fuel ratio of my brand new corolla. And for your information, it has a fixed ECU which values cannot be changed. Check this nano thing for your self and talk to me.

Hey guys... pls don’t go in to extremes. I didn’t say automakers make high gas mileage cars. And I didn’t say oil companies give money to car manufacturers. BUT, In this money driven world, anything could happen. I know battery technology is not advanced enough, but it’s not that weak to give us a good product. Good thing is now alternative solutions to fossil fuels are immerging but it’s not fast enough for some reason. I’ll tell you a funny story to prove that politics is everywhere and so much in control over us. In the election of the second term for former US president George W Bush, he was in a difficult situation to win that election. But last minute, Osama Bin Laden released a video tape to Al-Jazeera saying he will soon attack US. That was the turning point in that election. Most US citizens thought they are in danger and the only person strong enough to fight Osama is bush. So bush won again. Maybe it was a friendly call from a friend to save his buddy. Who knows? That’s politics. Same thing applies to car makers.

Pls read my previous post....!

Do you think vehicle manufacturers are from heaven. Just check why they killed the electric car in US in 1996. If they went ahead with that project, we wouldn’t have to waste so much money over fossil fuels like this. Just Google "Who Killed the Electric Car?" and you ll get to know what happened to that modern marvel. I’m telling you this cos i watched the documentary film about this incident. Oil has the power to change the world. Do you know why Toyota - the worlds best car manufacture doesn’t want to give a charging station to its hot selling Prius. Cos they simply don’t want you to run it without gasoline. Cos oil manufacturers pressured Toyota and other car manufacturers not to do it. So Az, Dont rely on car manufacturers so much. (FYI i don’t wanna give any certificate to this nano technology. What I shared was my experience. I don’t know how long its gonna last. Cos i just fixed it 2 months ago. Why don’t you fix one for your vehicle. But remember, as i said ask for a money back guarantee from the seller before you fix it.)
-
Yes. I fixed one, had issues but finally got it corrected. I asked for a money back guarantee from this easy TV guy and my gas mileage increases at least by 1 km per liter. But he claimed more than 2 KM's for liter but i don’t bother to return it cos i got at least more than 1 km increase. Now I have a scangauge II fixed to my car but I didn’t have that when i fixed it. If your car don’t have a trip computer on it, I ll tell you a way to check this thing. Start your car and rev up a bit to get the engine warm. And check your exhaust by feeling the air with your hand. If you are already feeling moisture (which is a sign of a good combustion) you cannot test it by this way but it doesn’t mean its not working. So lets assume you don’t get moisture to your hand (mine was like that). So what I noticed when i got everything corrected with Nano saver I felt a lot of moisture. There are some vehicles they claim that it produces water after fixing this thing. I definitely say its working but not as much as they claim. Its like car tuning, some cars don’t get the same benefit even you do your max by tuning in various places. This nano thingy is also like that. That’s my story. But remember, you have to fix it closer to the injectors. Closer the better. According to what i got to know. you ll get amazing results if you fix it to your injector lines but there’s no way you can do that cos of space constrains.

This easy tv add guy and lal alawa@@a is selling this product in SL. Alaya is 1000 rupees less than the easy TV guy but better go to the easy tv guy since alaya is very rude and not helpfull when it comes to customer service. And get a money back guaruantee before you fix it. Thats my advice.

5000 bucks for coolent flush is way to much bro. It cost me less than 2000 for my previous car and i used wurth coolent and flush.
-
Try Chami*da cushion works - Delkanda. as far as I know, they are the cheapest in the market. And their work is also in good quality. But pls double check with other places as well.
-
Thats ok. I ve seen so many toyota domestic brands (not imported by toyota lanka) in toyota service- wattala.
-
I dont know abut coolent colour. but my 2005 brandnew 121 came with green colour coolent and it says to replace it after 110,000Km's. You can buy the same thing from toyota lanka. diluting instructions given on the cover.
-
you may be correct on toyota maka bass thing. but changing ATF manually is nothing to do with toyota maka bass. it should be a compnay policy. Just my idea.
-
From where we can obtain driving licences. Is it from Werahara?
-
Thats bullshit Dilesh. I ll take the same example you mentioned. Lets say we are going to a bakery to buy a loaf of bread, knwoing the avareage bread prices in sri lanka. A normal bakery sells a loaf of bread for 40 rupees, at some places its 45 and some places its 50, if you go to keels super, a loaf of bread will be sold at 80 rupees. knowing that you simply ask for a loaf of bread from this particular shop. If the mudalali guy says its 250 rupees (like what this Mazna guy did) its completely ok to ask the questoin where on earth did you buy the flour for this bread. Is it from heaven??? There are places like that, if they get to know they can pull your wisdom tooth, they will hapily do it, Dont try to whitewash this kinda places. They are a disgrace to the whole motor mechanic industry.
-
Same here mate, I forgot to mention that part. Closing off the external air inlet will save your cooler from lot of dust and rust.
-
To all the car owners. If you are to replace the cooler, pls use a second hand original one. Cos these third party brand new products not gonna last for so long. I have experience in this regard. And 24K for cooler replacement is way too much. (Ajith's AC repair place at Nugegoda is also the same like mazna motors when it comes to AC repairs. Bugger is cheap in car detaling but AC repairs are shitty. Its a good thing to exchange ideas about this kinda people).
