If you're doing it through Dumi##a I'm guessing you'll be adding about (literally) a ton of weight , which will probably mean sacrificing performance. I've heard he's expensive too. I'm sure there are other people who can do a good job without breaking ur wallet or forfeiting power..Nothing against Dumi##a personally, just a thought.

What's wrong with Swedish cars? Just because the early ones didn't care much about look, both manufacturers have now switched gears. I think the new Volvos and Saabs look fine actually.
-
Wow, the back of that holds an uncanny resemblance to the Honda Accord..

There are a few 70's model Sunny's I've seen in the USA. They look much like the old Datsun's in SL, probably they're the (then) asian market model of that. The "Doctor" Sunny and the model that came out after that go as the Sentra here. I believe the 2004 n16 which comes to SL and its predecessor were originally designed for the Saudi market, they were available there. http://www.nissan.com.sa/english/vehicles/sunny/index.htm

Actually I've seen a Saab in Sri Lanka, I remember seeing one on Elvitigala Mw last December. I can't remember the model but it looked like a later 900 model. That's about all I've seen, I'm sure there aren't many, and I doubt there's even a service agent in SL.

If you're a fan of Daihatsu just go ahead and vote for Toyota then
-
Not seen that in years. That's actually quite famous in certain circles

Whoa three way tie....Didn't really expect that

Warren Buffet uses a Lincoln Town Car? I've seen some cab companies here using them as their flagship taxis... Thrifty? Tempted to almost say Stingy "It seems that for the super-rich, a vehicle is seen not as a status symbol, but as a means to an end in which to get from point A to point B. Status is something that these billionaires need not prove to others. In many cases, the people on our list prefer to live inconspicuously, avoiding the limelight at all costs. This might explain why many of their vehicles cost less than your own daily driver." That's a really nice statement though

That looks like fun until you read the fine print 1. iPod sold separately. 2. D-cell batteries sold separately. Nvm the D cell batteries But add another 350 or so for an iPod and you have a sound system costing around 70K. But maybe this is the future of HiFi

Out of the big names as far as I know Toyota and Mitsubishi are also still fully Japanese as well. And so is Subaru, after GM sold their stake last year. Nissan though is nearly half owned by Renault(thanks in part to Subaru) and as for the rest I don't know. Maybe someone can start a "who owns who" thread here, should be interesting.

I chose Nissan..All I have is a Sunny though. It's not racing material but at least I find it very reliable. Took it up to around 150 once but it started shuddering a bit after that But at least their big brother is the Skyline

For a moment I thought it was one of those Bodykit.lk creations..

That's why I said it might be a coincidence

This may just be a coincidence but I know 6 different people here in usa who have had both the iPod and the Nano, and none of them lasted more than 6 months. It wasn't anything to with physical damage but the damn things kept saying they need to be reset, and when they took them to the Apple dealers they couldn't be reset! And one of my friends got a replacement plan when he got his one, the first one packed up, they replaced it because they couldn't fix it, and what do u know the second one kicked the bucket as well...And that's a huge waste of money. Also there are known compatibility issues for users not using a Mac. I think iPod's have just become a fashion statement, there were other mp3 players before they came on the market, and there are others which will outlive the iPod. I've heard good things about both the iRiver and the Creative Zen micro. The iRiver comes by default with Sennheiser earphones which are way ahead of the ones that come with the iPod, so better audio quality. And both the Zen and the iRivers' look real good too, though maybe not as nice as the iPod. Just look at some online reviews and see what you want. Only problem is I don't know about their availability in SL. However if it's just 2 or 5GB ones you're looking for I'm sure you can find a good price online.

What are the prices of a Kelissa these days anyway?

I don't know whether there are any posted in the new forum, but if you go back to the Old forum and go wayyyyyyyyyy back to 2003, the rules are there. Back then it was a new forum, I don't think anybody would've thought it would become as huge as it is today

I'm going for the GTR. Somehow I don't think the rest of them can easily match the brutality of a Z-tune.

The A3 is around 30,000 USD with the AWD version a couple of thousand more. Since they're all 2L or over I guess they'd be heavily taxed if they were brought to SL. Seeing as the new Civic is close to 5 mil, then I'm guessing this will be way more than 7 mil

Did they show the case on TV? not in sl so cant see but I did see the pics when they appeared in the daily mirror after the tsunami, was a sickening sight... And wats that about raping a dead body

No, unfortunately it won't let me recreate my old ID which was tailgunner..and strangely I can still login to the old forum using it(just click on reply on one of the old forum posts and it lets you login) but I can't find any of my few posts using search in the old forums. Must be lost in the millions of threads there. Who cares anyway, I shall start afresh

Well I joined the forum in very early in 2004, I remember soon after I got adsl....Must've been a new forum then I can't remember if most of the regulars today were posting back then but they probably were not, not under the sign in names they use now anyway. Actually I can't remember whether I had to sign up or was just able to post without registering..When I went to the old forum I can't find any of those old posts, there seems to be a dissapearance between late 2003-mid 2004. Only the first welcome message and something else is there. Couldn't visit for a long time in 2005 and when I tried my ID on the new forum in January it didn't work, nor did the forgot password thing, so I had to make a new ID. And now my member ID is 2000+ though originally it must've bin way less than 400 I'm sure im not the only person in that situation Maybe Madz can tell us how the ID numbers are allocated.. Whatever happened to Hannibal, Max Pane, F50, Niomi etc anyway... I don't think i've come across them on the new forum. Maybe they're using new ID's too..Oh and who can forget NuttyMarbleboy

It looks like it's called the "3 Series Compact". The car looks just like this http://www.xgate.kz/Autonews/bmw%203-series%20compact.jpg This is how some reviewer had put it Pros: Refined, packed with gizmos, image Cons: Expensive, ugly, cramped in the back BMW 3 Compact review
