Prosecution for what? Buying buns from Roxy Watta? Saw a bunch of folks on the road outside British School about 1 a.m. last night setting up for what could have been some racing. Not a cop in sight (strange for that area at that time of night)

Dear Simple Auto, Thanks for quoting my FIVE YEAR OLD post out of context. I was not trying to establish it as a superior brand, rather as something cost effective that worked well in Sri Lanka at that time. This is long before SL cops got laser detectors, became embroiled in "speed guns shouldn't be legal" scandals, and before our streets were heavily proliferated with garage door openers, security cameras, microwave ovens and whatever else Californikan claims are regularly lined up alongside our A grade roads and confusing the hell out of our detectors (Californikan, this ain't california, think a minute about what you're saying man). As far as the Whistler goes, it served its purpose against the cops speed guns half a decade ago. Whether it would work against whatever they use today I have no idea, nor do I care (I sold it along with the car that used it long time ago) - I have no problem if someone wants to spend 50k on a speed detector to avoid the hassle of a 1k fine (if you're capable of getting copped for speeding 50 times over then the cost of a speed gun detector should be the least of your problems). Whatever works for you.

Friend, I did not experience the above in my dealings with this uneducated gang of idiot. However, the first service charge was quite high (no free service)

There are some FB 13s here with "Power Package" I have noticed they're all 1.8 litres, and actually pretty powerful...always thought its something to do with the engine capacity
