AFAIK the answer's No. (Note that the blower works when the car is switched ON but the engine hasn't been started)

Funny I'm poisitive it went past 7K!!

A few cars of almost all the models were recalled for the initial gas pedal issue. The latest issue is specific to corolla it seems.

Well to be precise it went up to 8K when it was in neutral . Once though I just floored it for the fun of it(it was past 1 and on high level) and RPM climbed up to around 7K before it shifted up. And it was a QG15 engine. But this was right after I replaced the plugs(with regular ones) Hi. Yeah when in Neutral. My bad. I learned this evening that there's a rev-limiter at work

Hi guys thanks for the info. A concern. On my previous fb15 the rpm used was hesitant to go up to 8k when I floor the pedal. This was not there after a tune up. On this particular car, the rpm goes to 5k and them doesnt note. This is in neutral. In ideas why?

Well I've decided to go for a ES8. 2.1 mil Will probably finalize on Thursday

Hi Thanks for the reply. To clarify it is a vtec engine. it has alloys. It doesn't have a spoiler.

Hi A friend who worked at A*W said that the price between the certified vs Brand new was not much so people would rather go for a BN at a small premium or a registered with a much lower price tag. Hence they stopped. Hope the above is not too confusing

Hi guys appreciate a little more help. Is 2,125,000 a fair price for the below car Honda ES8. Silver. YOM 2000. Registration 2005. No JR****. Mileage 95K. Auto. Leather seats. Addtl Options. Fogs, CD player, K&N Air Filter. Required repairs. Rear power mirror on one side. Cracked door upholstery(the plastic bit) on the drivers door. No other visible repairs. Agent maintained but I have not seen the records. They are supposed to be available. Paint work in great shape. Please help.

AFAIK there aren't any differences except what most people cal the 'sensor issue' 1.5 is around market price for a good ExSaloon (I heard this from De Silva Motors as well) but too much for the car if its done 150K. Also the FB14 is going at 1.2-1.4 so dont expect the FB15 for that amount. Depending on the condition 14-15 is fair value I think. Try to go for an Super Saloon which is better. ( I had one for the last two years and sold it three weeks ago) Nothing model specific to look for. Just the basic things you'd look at in any other car.

Hi. No its an ES8. Saw it at a car sale in Pita Kotte. The interior quality isn't that great. Leather was scraped (almost cut) on the drivers seat and the door upholstery on the driver side is cracked. But the car didn't feel too bad when driving.
