Yeah, i have quite an interest in the ol' fellas, the pajero, the LJ79 Land Cruiser (old ones ) and the new 4L one , the issue is the family component is up with the whole SUV thingy more or less soft-roader.. As for off road i've had my times with the Landy and the Hilux will soon be ready for a bit of mud

That happens because the Hilux has a metal/chrome rear buffer, it interferes with the activity of the reverse sensor kit.. there are special kits for metal buffers..

Please kindly chuck in your views/recommendations I know the variety in this list is kinda vast; just for clarification my requirements are : Any fuel type is fine, fuel economy is of least concern, no intention of "real" off roading a decent ground clearance would do, need good passenger capacity, good pulling power, reliability/ easy to maintain.. You are comparing two vehicles that are realms apart mate, suggest you do a thorough readup before you make a move..

Well since its a cheap idea, its gonna be cheap, look cheap, sound cheap and in all make you and your car cheap.. If you still wanna go for it I guess you'll have to fiddle with the wiring, swap the transformer inside and also the jacks need to be changed or a converter must be used.. Also 3000 buck subwoofer will not be good enough to even come close to outwit a real system.. Head units sub out will not work properly with the PC sub unit// My suggestion, be patient, save up and get the real deal..

Yea, my buffers are polyurethane, that's why i can't simply drill and mount two lamps onto em... guess i'll have to stick to the stock ones or upgrade the whole buffer..

Had the same issue when we bought the CR51, a pair of joints lasted only 3months etc.. Well it sorted out after we replaced the entire front end from a recon cut front half (did it since the steering rack started having issues), replaced the front wishbones, front diff bit (4wd), steering rack and ends etc.. might have been another damaged part causing it. so just look into that...

I feel it looks good without em'.. btw those driving lamps look like a decent add-on
