Ive changed my car colour from green to red about 1y back. No clue in the book.

New book only shows the current colour. It doesnt give any clue regarding a change.

Actually door pillar trim is really good shape and i didnt paint it. Actually what i did was not the perfect way and just sanded it with 400 paper.( idealy you have to remove it , use a sand paper to get rid of old paints and apply a primer before the paint). I'll post a pic tomorrow as im at my work place today with 3mp phone cam!

I used Bosny flat black 400ml can (460 Rs). Machan use enough masking tape and newspapers to cover and the finished product was much better than my paint bas work

Got maxxis MA z1 for 12000( 195/55/15) with nice thread pattern. It has got lot of possitive reveiws in the net and far better than my ex gt tyres. If you dont mind the low profile, better to go and check this one.

not the door handles mate! . Im reffering to exterior frame around the glass(weather strip) and the strip placed at the body near to door.

Yes machan,its a civic eg with metalic red paint. normal flat black wont stick to chrome parts machan.( i painted whole car about 1y back ). There's god DIY write up at civic-eg.com regarding trim restoration and there are specific primer paints as well. I'm looking for some sort of a paint at least, that can be sprayed on top of the chrome.

Yes machan, plastidip would be the best bet, but i dont think its available here. Are there any alternatives here?. Hope MD or somebody with experience in car restoration will help me out.

Guys, Please help me to find a paint to restore my car door and body trim.(exterior) Its originally in flat black and now few chips have fallen ,exposing underline chrome. I did find few matching paints in the net, like plastidip and dupli-colour,but i dought wheather they are available here. Are there any alternatives here to paint it? Thanks in advance, HC.

As varuna mentioned you need to post more details. You need to confirm wheather its related to ignition or something else. cuz corroded water pump also gives this crr sound when its near to pack up!.

Its available in my aftermarket securiy system which is a steelmate . It activates the central locking with the first press of the brake pedal after 30sec from engine start.Actually i just bought it to do basic locking-unlocking and came with some additional features like this. it costs around 6000 about 1y back!

Actually i couldnt inspect the whole thred pattern as it was covered . But looks similar to this. What i learnt from the maxxis agent was that,its a slow moving tyre as demand is pritty bad. Now im bit worried wheather that im ending up with set of old tyres. I got another deal for dunlop (made in china,normal thread) for little less price. Whats your opinion on it mate!

Mate these prices are for irregular thred tyres. you canot get dunlop/ bridgestone irregular threaded tyre around 12000. Actualy dunlop normal thread(made in china) costs 11600 at amila, dehiwala(these prices are for 195/55 - 15). Gt is also a mid range brand like maxxis and for me its worse than maxxis!

Its Ma-z1, but victra part is not there. Its 12800 at amila - dehiwala and 12000 at local maxxis agent in my area. Reason for the difference was that agent can give the best discount possible, so if you are looking for it better to go to local maxxis agent at your area.(agent list is there at maxxislk)

actually i couldnt get the name from the agent machan! . But thread patern is compatible with it.(not 100% sure though).Hopefully I can update the exact name tomorrow by going there again.

Had a similar issue sometime back. when rev beyond 2k indicator light dissapeared in my case,but no charging at all. found out to be busted voltage regulator!.

Mate, im too planing to buy 195/55 15 within next week and got a deal from local maxxis agent for 12000 per tyre. i cant exactly remember the name but its a nice tyre with irregular thread design.(its not shown in the local maxxis site but available in maxxis.com in high performance radial category). I used both maxxis and gt before and maxxis is much better!
