I got the tune up done yesterdaY. Could see a hell of carbon deposits inside and all the injectors were almost blocked. The guy did a good job and guess what ? the problem solved ..........don't know if too early say.......but no issue found during morning drive today.(about 14 Kms under traffic).. Thanks guys for your help... One more quick question ........... Do know a place where I can buy a SPARE WHEEL HOLDER BOLT........... for the K11 Thanks

Hi all, Today went to the agents and scanned it with their console. But according to them no issue found in reading. As alrady told this was just bought and not tuned up as yet.I guess a lot of carbon deposits. Also plugs are pretty old . You all think a proper tune up will solve the issue pls? Need to fix this soon. Thanks Viraj

I checked the battery and alternator.The guy said no problem.Then I changed my car battery with this and ran to see if the issue is with the battery.But no chance. Dear All, I just bought a K11 for my wife and experienced that the engine stops automatically and all the bulbs on the meter board goes on. No jerk or any indication what so ever just prior to that. No sooner I change the gear positio to "P" (Auto Transmission) it starts again and runs as normal. Caheced with a couple of people and some suspect that to be the distributor. Also another person said my plugs are almost gone and it could be the case. Can any one help me to figure out this. Thanks in advance VJ

Sorry mate. I could not log in for some time due to my studies and yesterday only the exam came to an end. No I dont think selling a sylphy is difficult provided well maintained. But 1.8 has a bit of issue in reselling. Yes . there is no version called N17. Its N16 2004+ version. I dont know if you call it face lift. Fuel consumption wise 2004+ sylphy is much better compared to 2003 before versions. Please call me if you wish to receive more infor on the mobile number given in the personal message.

Can give some insights but not an expert. Blue Bird Sylphy is the JDM in N16 Series.What it does mean? Sylphy comes from Japan made for the domestic market. If you wish to knowwhether there is diffrence between N16 and Sylphy ? yes. How ? Given below are what comes to my mind. N16 normally comes with either 1.5 or 1.6 engine whereas sylphy normally comes with 1.5 or 1.8 engine Syplhy interior is totally diffrent to N16. Better have a look on the net before u make a decision. which is largely diffrent (teak interior) More or less outer appreance is same but there is some difference.I dont know exactly what. But I can easily recognise sylphy from N16 from far even. Sylphy has more option compared to N16. Syplhy always comes with fabric interior whereas N16 largely leather etc . Answering your question if 1.5 is better than 1.3 ? to cut it short dont even think of 1.3 ... then if 1.5 is better . yes it i smuch better ...2004+ version easily does about 10 kmpl colombo under moderate traffic conditions. No experience about the 1.8 engine. But should logically do better coz of accurate weight to power ratio. but be careful in buying . coz cannot sell easily. Hope this is helpful.

Just to make a note of an incident happened about six month ago..... Someone I know tried to bypass the subway at Borella junc. was knocked by a bus driver and died instantly. But still the bus driver had to be behind bars and go through a major hastle.So careless pedestrians is not an excuse..... u got be careful

If you are interested in Nissan , I think should look at sylphy 2001 model that you could find within your budget (1.8-1.9 mn depending on the condition).This is a JDM and interior looks superb.Also the second hand market is very much encouraging and you may sell in a breeze. When it comes to FB 14 long light doesn't look nice or bulky.No any other particular reason I know.... 02.It does. but unfortunately this will be difficult to track due to two reasons as far as I understand .one- some pretend as babies that they don't keep records.Two - they are too smart .I know people who cook the mileage soon after buying and maintain records nicely from there onwards.

Mate, I am in agreement with most of the views.I used to own one .Some foods for thought , before buying. 01. 1300 CC is B 14 and 1500 CC is FB 14 (people simply call both FB 14) - you chek in the book for chassy number. 02. 1500 CC fuel economy is better than 1300 CC ( power to weight ratio in FB 14 is accurate ) 03. B 14 will do max 8-9 in the city if you maintain it will (auto) whereas FB 14 will be in the range of 9-10 (Auto) 04. B 14 is about 50-100 thousand piced less than FB 14.Futher more manual is about 50,0000 less than an auto irrespective of FB or B14.Manual will do about 2 kn extra. 05.Long light will be yours for ever . sellin is a bit of problem 06. Cannot reccomend 1300 CC unless single use 90% of the time. 07. Don not go by the milege , Rs .2500 can get you whatever the mileage on the clock .I will give u the place to go to. Hope this will help but this is good car in terms of maintenance , comfort (comfortable than similar toyota range),resale,
