When taking into account, fuel consumption,comfort,resale value what is the best? n17 super saloon or blubird sylphy? (i am talking about 1.5 engine cars)

do u think the blubird sylphy is hard to sell as a whole? \or only the 1.8 engine version?

ya i actually think so to..altho ppls call it n17,its the facelift of n16.. about the bluebird sylphy..is it the same as nissan super saloon?apart from the minor modifications?i thought bluebird was another model! dvt, can u pls clarify..anyway, thanks a lot fro the info..

Im thinking of buying a nissan N17 (continuation of N16, WHICH CAME FROM 2005 ONWARDS)super saloon..or ex saloon.. ppl say not to buy a 1.3 engine..and go for a 1.5 engine.. they also say that thiss car does low on petrol..so dont go for it.. im confused..can anybody please clarify me on the above details pls.. if this car isnt that good, can anyone suggest a good car between 2.2 millin- 2.4 million?

mazda 323! definitely! i have used mazdas through out.. trouble free car..good pulling power good even when its 1300 cc,reliable,classy,looks nice! too bad i dont have enuf money to upgrade to a mazda 3

lot of 141 owners complain here of the petrol consumption..i just talked to a friend who now travels by bus to reduce costs..haha.. anyway i heard camry,corolla,prius all were models which were recalled in USA...

what kind of problems do the gdi engines give? im inquiring about the pajero io..which has GDI engine.. heard there were issues with the vehicle..

hi, does anybody know about the 1.3 engine issue as i mentioned above? can anyone pls enlighten me on the differences between super saloon and ex saloon?

ppl say there are issues in the 1.3 engine? they say less pulling power and low resale value..in 1.3 engine.. by the way can someone tell me the difference between ex saloon and super saloon pls?im clueless! is it true?

the resale value and the low mileage fr petrol seems to be burning issues.. for the mazda tribute that is.. hmm

hehe..true.. ppl sometimes give their opinions without any reason.. as far as my reasearch goes,its ok..but ppl have a bad opinion.. why? oh why..

a good car would be around 16,50 if its 2001 and 17 if 2002..but ive seen ppl even selling for more..a guy i know sold his 2003 one for 18 im talking about cars without any issues.and cars which have done less mileage..anyway i got mine for a similar price..abt 2 yrs bak.. as far as i kno there are no issues with mazda 1.3 and 1.5 engines..both have good power, but 1.3 does well on petrol..mazda never has pulling issues with 1.3 even with AC on, when goin on steep areas... normally the car is really good.. mine does 11-12 kn per litre in colombo..it depends on ur driving too.. spares are very well available. but i dint need any..no issues at all..for almost 2 years i used..but then i used it carefully..and as the second car.. i have continously been using mazda familia and 323..no problems so far..

thanks a lot.. i have heard that tribute hasnt got much spare parts.so thats why it is hard to sell..is it so? im not looking for a suv with 4 wheel drive..im mostly going on colombo and suburbs and may be occasional journeys to places like upcountry and down south. the CRV is too much for me in the sense that it wont fit my budget.. are there any specific issues with tribute..? i mean some car models of some brands are known to have certain probelms.. like that, is the tribute also ,associated with something similar? i really like mazda cars..have used em thruout..i cannot afforst the mazda 3 yet..so thats why i want to settle fr the tribute SUV..plus it looks ok..(cant say looks good tho) but lots of ppl have been discouraging me..they suggest stuff like suzuki escudo even..im wondering why..
