Car sales a**holes & custom officers are anyway biig crooks. In that way every business in Sri Lanka has some mishap or mal-practice going on. Thanks for sharing this. Valuable info.

Go for falken or bridgestone ecopia. both of them provide comfort driving plus increased fuel efficiency.

If can read this thread; http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/4794-sludge-formation/

As I can remember, about 5-6 years ago the same issue was discussed in Autolanka. The main reason for this check engine light toyota vehicles with a VVTI engine was due to sludge being built up in the engine. It happens when the moist inside the engine gets mixed up with the engine oil. Some members in the forum said that it was due to moving the vehicle immediately after a cold start. You got to start it & let it be at least for 2-3 minutes until the RPM settles. They suggested to flush the engine once as a quick solution & it worked for a friend of mine who owned a Toyota Corolla 121 at that time. This was a common issue with VVTI engines & one member in the forum had to incur approx Rs. 140,000/- (as I can remember) to do an engine overhaul, due to sludge being built up. If I have time I will find the link in the forum & post it for your reference. Hope you will be able to rectify your issue asap.

Dear honda vesi / vezel owners, If you have some self respect for yourself, please stop commenting on how awesome the vezel is & going on to defend your justification as well. As you can see here the odds are not in favor of you all since everyone else will be tearing you guys apart in this thread. If you believe you have the guts to defend, then no problem. Good luck

After all the bashing & humiliation, it seems that the brave "vezeliyites" don't seem to give up. Aho deviyani! mokadda meh paapaya?

Honda Vezel - Auto Lowering Mirror Is Not Working
Dafunkdi replied to ans's topic in General Automotive
Ok another "Honda Vesi" Thread. This honda vesi is gathering so much momentum now its really fun to read the stuff posted by the dudes who are in favor of honda vesi -
This happened by knocking on a three wheeler? OK seems that Honda Vesi is good in all different positions

No man I don't pay for nitrogen. Its free at Laughs fuel station in havelock town when you pump petrol for Rs. 1,500/- & above.
-
whoa! This topic is taking a major turn around from Honda Vezel aka Honda Vesi to Mercedes Benz & AMG & so on....... Don't know where it will end.

Man you should read some comments by the hybrid dream losers in FB last week. It's so pathetic as to how they boldly say that they have used their life savings as the down payment & arranged a deadline lease to order a hybrid. After taxes went up they cry saying they are poor & helpless. I mean what idiot will take such a risk with the personal life savings. To my point of view, anyone who dumps more than 40% of his monthly income on a vehicle is nothing but a Buckass idiot. These are negative outcomes of conspicuous consumption, which means buying to impress others & not because you want.

hey man! Thanks for making this thread interesting. It was getting really bored since all the critiques have seem to given up.

I started using nitrogen since 2011. The differences I felt was that; 1. The mileage per liter increased by about 1.5km in the city 2. The tire wear & tear was a bit slow. It lasted quite longer than normal for (Dunlop & Falcon tires) 3. The steering became very light. It was the most significant difference I found. 4. The tire shop dude said the tire doesn't heat up as the normal air since nitrogen is cooler. 5. Our driver said that if the car is idling most of the time with nitrogen, it may cause a tire decay due to the coolness of air. As a result its difficult to put an instant patch, where it needs to sealed & pasted from inside. I'm not exactly sure about this factor. I still continue to use nitrogen since the tire pressure doesn't drop as much as normal air. If can watch some fifth gear & top gear videos in nitrogen air in youtube.

Man you got the balls to speak out the bloody truth. Along with the headlights, take some time to look at their faces which says; "Damn proud to drive a vezel, the ultimate driving machine"
-
Man! You got the balls to speak. True after buying it what the f**k should you care. May be he wants the consent that its a fantabulous so called SUV
-
Damn true man! If taxes are constant for the next 5 years, Bajaj + TVS tuk tuk's < Honda Vezel

If can visit Aminda from Elakanda, Wattala. I have never come across such a reasonable, honest, trustworthy & yet reliable bike garage guy for Japanese bikes. His shop is in the Elakanda junction itself as you turn towards bopitiya. Take my word dude.

Ya man! There is indeed a group called Hybrid Dream Loosers. To precise there are 184 losers in that page so far & all are crying over & over again like a bunch of sissies. Ravi K is their nightmare now & everyone is taking turns in blasting him off. Some have even posted photos of their ill-fated dream. By the way nice page name & they accept that they indeed are bunch of losers.

No buddy! must be asking for 5 million from a bunch of dickheads as the seller himself & expect people will flood in front of their door step fighting each other just to buy this so called cool suv "VEZEL". Because of this so called suv, the value & prestige of honda, has gone to the dogs now. Don't be amazed if they ask for 6 million or more the most outstanding suv in the entire universe which is VEZEL. Ha ha!!
-
All the grumblers in this forum are either hybrid car users, the car sale dudes or the so called professionals who couldn't do their math properly with regard to their finances & have ordered hybrids & now mourning like silly sissies. I feel the professional qualification didn't teach them something called risk (You need to make an allowance for risk) & they believe the economy should run on perfect per-determined standards. So what about the people who paid premium prices in 2007-10? What about the increase in 2012 again? They never petitioned. Look! Shit happens & get used to it without complaining for everything. The country as a whole & the reductions for essential stuff is more important right now than a silly hybrid issue. So don't be selfish. What worries me is whether there will be a petition for the price reductions as well, because I saw gobba wimal criticizing it too. By the way I feel there are more so called suv "vezel" in this country after three-wheelers.

I too had the problem in 2009 when I had a Mazda 3. At one point the car never responded to the remote. tried different places including carmart, sunlanka, magcity etc. Didn't work out. There is this garage called Upul's garage & electircal works in peliyagoda in the kandy road. If going from colombo, its on the right side. He fixed it. the charges if I'm was a bit higher than what I expected.

Continental Insurance is the worst as per my experience. They will give you a good experience by just making you to visit them many times. Cheque gets delayed. Agent is very very late & all sought of issues. A friend of mine despises Continental for a bad experience. All my vehicles are now at Amana Insurance since no need to wait for an agent, just call & go, Premiums are low, service is good, payments are good & fringe benefits such as lounge facilities at the airport. I selected Amana since a friend of mine works there & its easy to get the job done. Allianz is ok but they want police reports & cheque gets damn late to come.
