Just a thought.. Not interest in S7 Edge? Better battery (3600mAh) and Micro SD card slot available again (S6 Edge does not have micro SD).. If they still don't have it, it should be available soon. Also S7 edge is water and dust proof. If you ask me i would go for the S7 edge vs s6 edge bcos of better battery and expandable memory. KMeeg.

If any one is looking at the Samsung Note 5. On the plus side the camera is much better than iPhone 6 plus. Note camera app comes with a Pro mode where you can select ISO, Shutter speed, WB, Focus Auto or manual, etc.. On a down side is battery life is not sufficient if you listen to music youtube / mp3 and check FB and other stuff. And keep WiFi, Bluetooth, Location (GPS+WiFi+Mobile) full time. I also like the size unlike iphone 6 plus it fits regular size cup holder on your car with flip cover case. Regular Toyota car audio system allow you to read text (including listening to the text) and reply. Same rejecting a call with a text. Wireless charger is not bad but the phone gets a bit heated. But can be charged wireless with the flip cover on. Gear 2 is also a handy item to have. Notifications given almost instant. Taking and receiving calls via gear 2 on a noisy environment is impossible. Display is not bad but looking at it in direct sunlight you need to bring up the brightness up to level 5 or 6. To use the heart-rate monitor you need to have it bit tight to your hand but that is not comfortable to have all day tight to your hand. Kind of not practicle much. S-Pen is also a handy tool, you can just take it out write something on screen and put the pen back in phone, the note will be saved. Pretty easy to take screenshots of web pages, highlight and write something and save. Stock headset is not good to my taste. But i'm using sennheiser momentum earbuds for Galaxy and the quality is good enough for listening at office. I looked at the Edge+ too. Size is same as Note 5. But with the curved screen i wasn't comfortable with my little one. I don't think edge+ is kids friendly. It might shatter the glass even if it drops on a side. Looks to me camera and display performance is same as Note5. Bottom line, I've used it just under a month and so far did not crash any app. Not having micro SD card and a good battery life is bad. Hope this helps if any one looking for Note 5.

It's really great if it works out. Hope Toyota can do the same too. So in future we can buy brand-new for a reasonable price rather than paying a huge price tag to recon Japs.. On a side note i'm really pissed off seeing these fellows saying 'will be coming' stories and blah blah... and end of the day nothing happens and all bullshit... That test seems to be a fair test to me too.. But after seen the comments from many to be honest i'm bit scared that i would break the gear box. I don't think the 'limited warranty' would cover that kind of damage.. May be the best option is to wait for some time and have some budget for another car and buy at least something like a used WRX. For now i think i will try to switch to sports (that 'S' mode with + & -) and may be turn off Trac & VSC might help to gain more acceleration.

Heehh.. Heee.. Don't worry to give yours to drive. I drive others cars with much care.. But for my slower cars I had to find some way to catch up with my friends cars since they are much faster when we have a little fun on open roads.. :D

Great info and very tempting..!! Few questions from me.. 1. How does the display perform when you are outside on a sunny day. Basically with old Samsungs I find little difficult to view the screen when its too sunny vs iPhone display performs better. 2. What do you feel about the stability of the phone. I had few issues of crashing the apps and about 2 or 3 times i had to restart the phone bcos I could not answer the phone as the swipe was not responding to answer the call. Vs iPhones seems to be a little more stable but Facebook, Youtube, Camera+ crashes sometimes. And same as Samsung about 2 times I missed calls because the phone got stuck and not responding to answer the calls. 3. I think its too early to ask about the build quality but please share if you have any experience. As I told you on FB I don't like the build quality of iPhone especially with the display where its very fragile. My wifes phone just dropped from car seat on to the road and the display has a small chip at bottom and minor damage to metal. Good thing it had a leather cover but bottom has an opening for speaker, headset & charging. If it was not there I think the entire display will be gone. My daughter multiple time throw my old S3 when she gets angry on hardwood floor multiple times and the display piece goes one direction and battery and the back cover goes the other, believe me only scratches..!! No cracks and everything works fine. 4. It would be great I you could compare the battery life vs a iPhone 6 / 6plus, Bcos according to ratings (Eg. - gsmarena) the s6 and edge seems to have less battery life when compared to S5 and Note 4. But as you said if it survives a day with heavy use I think that's great. 5. You have tested the sound quality with the headset came with the phone right? If so that's great news too.. Is the sound played via Bluetooth also good? 6. Does the Edge fit on your car's cup holder? I wish it would be great to have a default video call app for Android like iPhone face time. So may be putting to 'S' manual mode and shifting would be be best option to get more acceleration i guess. When you want to have a little fun with your friends and want to get the maximum acceleration doing that seems to give the max output (I may be wrong). Shifting to manual mode and shifting down seems to take more time than shifting to 'N' + floor the accelerator and put it back to 'D'. Also using sports button and normal mode does not seems to have any effect if your accelerator is fully pressed. But i do see a change of acceleration when you accelerate normally and enable 'sports' button. I think what it does is just change the position of the accelerator. What i mean is if I press accelerator 1 inch in normal mode it gives 20% of engine power vs in sports mode it gives 40% engine power? Am i correct? Not sure about that. Because in certain markets models like 2015 Tacoma, 4Runner, etc.. still come with a 4L V6 VVTi engine right?
