I tested my battery with multimeter and when engine is not running voltage is about 13.5V and when I started engine it was about 14.5V to 14.6V when I accelerate engine voltage change is negligible. (about 0.1V) When I'm testing temperature is 22degC (colombo). Also car was stopped for about 1hour before test begin (after running for about 15min in morning) If one cell has short I think voltage should be lower in battery terminals because short circuit cell cant supply voltage. Also only 2 out of 6 cells has this issue. Others are fine. Thanks.

Hi I think it is correct ATF (1L 595Rs bottled). Done by reputed garage at Galle. Caltex oil recommended for Dextron III or something. (I'm new to car thing.) I have traveled about 4000km in this condition. Oil color is not dark now. Do you think I have to re-change it? What should be the oil I have to use? Thanks for your reply.

Hi, I can see some white powder near the leaver which locks battery in place. But no other corrosion. Is it ok if I remove some acid from battery?

Hello, Problem in Toyota Sprinter car, CE110 with 2C Diesel engine AT 1997, 120000km. I have changed ATF about month ago. When I bought car, previous owner haven't changed ATF for long time. I Used caltex ATF and cost me about Rs9000 to do it. (wash and refill I think) After few days of this ATF change (about 200km) clutch balance of vehicle became problem. Now car goes backward in D gear when I placed it in small incline. Earlier it stopped in reasonable inclines without going back in D gear. In same place, now it goes back (pretty fast). Also before ATF change when I place car in D and disengage paddle brake, car gets reasonable speed on flat surface without pressing accelerator. Now at same conditions car can hardly attain about 2~5 km/h. can any one please explain me the problem and possible fix? Thanks.

Hi, Battery in my car (CE110) emits air bubbles. I can hear the sound and can see some acid came out from battery. Looks like air pressure is building in battery. Any one can explain why and how to resolve issue? thanks.

HI, in case of car jacking, some one put gun to my head and take vehicle. I'm not going to be hero here and will give him vehicle. And at the police I know where the vehicle is exactly (within 10m accuracy). I park some ware and go to my work. When I come back car is stolen. AT the police I know where the car is. so friend got the message? It is security system and one who steal my car will not know until police comes.

HI, Actually this is gps tracking unit which could be installed in vehicle. It could send vehicles location and speed information acquired through GPS to central server through GPRS network. Usually for about Rs 0.01 we can send about 20 points of detailed data to base station server. Also this units can be programed to send alarm messages in case of reaching some limits like speed, location (or area), time of no movement. Unit is pretty convenient and small enough to install (8cm x 6cm x 1.5cm). I have tracking unit in my car (installed by my self in 30min) with all these options. However I track it using SMS.

Took 20mins to do so and I know where my car is up to 10m accuracy at any time anywhere. it costs only sms charge to check location. no arm disarm procedures. Just install and foget about that. Uses GPS and GSM technology and cost is Rs.13500 for buy that one. I also bought (through a friend from US) Viper 5901 security system which cost me 40k to get down here. (I just love advanced tech stuff. not really cars.) this is (one of) most advanced car security systems available today with two way remote and remote engine start.

Hello, What type of HID lights compatible with Toyota Sprinter CE110 1997 (Crystal lights) model? I have Googled and found H4 bulbs have both High beam and Lo beam HID. Does this compatible with this car? Can I use 55W HID lights with this car safely with exsisting head lights? Thanks in advance
