    100% agree with The Don. 2004 Swift Japanese model goes for 2.3m and above. If the car is made in Japan and is in good condition you shouldn't miss this chance. While not an big issue, its a good thing to have a look at the papers, verify if its the Original book and the previous number of owners etc.

    dude I've never heard about such an issue with any swift model. It must be an isolated situation. But better get the whole electrical system and other systems inspected by a good electrician and a mechanic to clear any doubts.

    According to specs the 2002 rio weigh more than 1000kg so imo 1.5 is more suitable, even if its a manual. Don't know whether a 1300cc is available anyway.

      yeah guess sellers can quote any price they want, but its the buyer who should be smart. There are dumb asses who pay a premium if its a Doctor Owned car.

    machan, 19- B13 or FB13? B13 beeing the 1300cc might do more or less on fuel considering the cars weight. one of my uncles also has a manual 19- white super saloon for the last 15 years. he keeps it in top notch condition, I agree its a pretty reliable and desent ride.

    @OP then by all means go for the Kellisa, you wont be disappointed, it has a good second hand market too.

    I have seen more Kelisas than the subaru's and I've seen some places that do kellisa spares, so i dont think spare parts will be an issue for the kellisa. Have no personal experience with the two cars, but like you said I also think the subaru's build quality and comfortability would be better than the kellisa's.

    I would highly recommend the AE91 from that list. was a very reliable and comfortable car for me, my one did about 10-11kmpl in the city and about 14kmpl out station. but keep in mind that these cars are more than 20 years old.

    If its a 2004 swift beetle japan model and if in good condition, 2m is a very good offer. go for it. All though it will do a little less kmpl than the passo, the swift is better in many ways.

    I think you can buy a soluna for around 1.5m. but if you have 1.8m why by a soluna? like crosswind said dont be fooled by the number game. if you are looking for a english number'd sedan I think a 2000 familia or a CS1 pre face lift is your best bet.

    why cant I find sme original sinhala songs of the 90's. almost all I've found were rap'd or sunflower'd takaran sound crap :(

      thanks sampath, I'll check out torana aswel. I really need to hear those songs again. most of em new gen kids today doesnt know a rats ass about old songs. take Greshan Jayamaha for example, most of them think songs of him were originally sung by rookantha or bns.

    Found this about the Sentra (Sunnys export version) in wikipedia, probably wont apply for the sunny though: btw check out nissan sunny wikipedia page they even have pictures of some srilankan b211's.
