Hey guys anyone know the procedure involved to obtain a learners permit? My cousin was talking about it and i wasn't even aware that the learners permit has been implemented in sl :/ Anyway if someone could post a detailed description on how to obtain one it would be really helpful. Thanks

Dont know about other people but i never go through any of this stuff They come up to the window, check the license and registration and then let me go.They dont ask me anything Also since the war ended i have rarely got stopped inside colombo, only a few times in the night i guess.

Dude. I know your trying to help and i appreciate it but as someone pointed out before everyone has different opinions. You believe Indian bikes are good, others dont. So there is no point contradicting everything they say just because you are not of the same opinion. And in case you hadn't noticed, this stopped being about CBR vs FZ long ago and has turned into a "Diss the indian bike lover" topic. LMFAO If your referring to me as Biker boy then il tel you this. The power seems good but i cant judge not having ridden bikes before.. Maybe il decide after i ride a CBR Oh and i thought the guy was advertising but i didnt want to offend anyone over here

I think the FZ looks pretty good Yeah the power and all is o.k. but this being my first bike i cant judge.. Im thinking of going for a CBR if a coupla months but for now the FZ suits me perfectly..

Went and bought the FZ-S Seems to be an ok bike with a decent bit of power and acceleration. Still learning how to shift gears Anyway maybe il pick up a CBR in a few years once i learn to ride properly. Thanks for all your help guys

True enough man btw the Yamaha FZ-S is 250,000 at A*W so cheaper than a CBR i guess. Also can you give me some pointers to check out if a used CBR is hacked or not? Thanks guys

Ah. CBR's are hard to ride? I knew a couple people who started with those only.. Anyway i think i got a bit carried away here Is the FZ a good starter? Also most FZ's and CBR's are the same priceish so wouldnt the CBR be a better buy? Thanks

I was looking to buy an FZ only Got a little carried away by people suggesting i buy a CBR and the 'Cool factor' of the CBR's i guess So CBR's have a lot of problems? Also isnt a CBR worth compared to an FZ when they both at the same price point of 200,000? According to me its seems like a better buy?
