machan this is a new location and made national park in 2002. Machan you should see the entrance. It was done in 2007 and it has some awesome buildings and a small exbit of animals, you have to access it through rotawewa which is just near the minneriya national park but to the opposite side of the road, any new map should carry the route, Only problem is machan when its goverement owned they do not know how to do marketing. Machan we went at the ideal time because its now that raining season has started. so where were is where the lake should be, its just starting to fill up. best month i would suggest you to go is either august or the begining of the dry season so that there will be loads of mud to play with.

Mini on one puddle water went above the roof, sadly could not take pictures because we did not know what the hell happend. I was very impressed with my cruiser and i feared my tires would get me stuck - but it never failed on me . My other freinds have loads 4x4 experiance, so i was able to share some experiance with them. only problem was that i lost my front number plate to huge mud pit.

MINI i think these are two different incidents

I myself a frequent driver to matara on numerous occasions have witnessed how arrogant these bus drivers are. personally if there was no karma and no death sentence for road rage killings and if i had 9mm piston i would have at least gun down 20 bus drivers for the past 2-3 years. we in our small cars are helpless in front of these mammoths. these drivers should be burnt alive. i saw a accident just in front of me around 6 months back in panadura where a matara colombo bus went over 50 year old motorcyclist and both his legs broke because he was crushed between the bus and steel fence near the Panadura Junction in middle of the town. Sad but what to do, somehow the driver got the days earning from the pedestrians of panadura.

machan i just put the cab yesterday, but the mud has dried a bit due to the hot weather i will let you know as it rains over here. i will check the situ on sunday.

further to add, I have seen some cars with tons and tons of Cataloy Paste to make the cars look wide body. i just cannot believe why owners put there cars through such torture. off course the Village Blokes might think it may be cool, but seriously i feel its a crime.
