XXX any car i feel if serviced and maintained properly would work fine. Most of Subarus Need 98 RON and pumping 90 might damage its sensors and bearings in the long term. Some i have heard some even fits VIC filters to Subaru. Performance cars needed to be treated specialy. I will never recomend a Subaru for Daily Use. ( Not in Sri Lanka Anyway ). XXX by the way Subaru will not burn that much if you really rev it. At 3000 RPM it does really well. But I am sure no one buys a Subaru to drive like a Grand Dady Cheers.

ALSO IF YOU DO NOT DRIVE IN TRAFFIC TOO MUCH I ALWAYS RECOMEND YOU A MANUAL COS ITS FUN TO DRIVE, BUT IF YOU DAILY COMMUTE IN TRAFFIC AUTO IS A MUST MAY BE WITH TRIPTRONIC OPTION. IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT FUEL CONSUMPTION - THINK OF COROLLA's They have great second hand value and cars are very hardy and reliable. But I dont know how much it has to do with the fun factor. Mazda 3 is a Heavy and a Very Stable Car. But if you are seriously considering a Xtrail ( Unless You want something for Off roading ) Subaru WRX or STi is the way to go !

Cheaper than that would be less quality issues. Remember Fiberglass has weakness of showing Paint Fading - Paint Flakes and Air Bubbles if you use impropoer materials. So dont always go behind the price factor. Also ask what gurantee they provide if paint flakes come. cos paint cost a lot more than fiber work.

Problem in body kits in Sri Lanka is that Everyone needs a Small Custom Made Kit according their Design. This we are unable to as our Technology is different in designing a Part. If we develop a Mould we need to Manufcature Minimum of 5000-10000 Pieces per Mould to cover our Total Investment. We can still do local. This is not a problem because its handled by Different Company and they will shift to a New Location. But our Current Location is used for the NEW BOI PROJECT. About Profitability - Well Our New Operations will be for Porsche and Corvettes parts for exports So i am sure that means few $$$ Extra. Machan US car market is in Decline and all Main Manufactures of Parts are in the Decline. Also US NTB http://www.ntsb.gov/ might ban after market body kits by 2009. Due to this most chinese companies have all ready closed down. Future for Body Kits is bleak unless its made Urethane or Polymer. Allready Modified Exhausts are Banned in MA and many states due to noise resitrictions and pollution. So after market parts for passengers cars will see a big decline and US goverment will be very strict on cars modified ( Unless for Races ). Our New Performances Parts Manufcatures will have to think of New Hybrid Engines. Years to comes our Drag Racers ( If Permitted ) will be runing on Honda & Toyota Hybrid Engines, Fuel Cell Technology and Hydrogen Powered Cars. Our Terms of Racing will change within a couple years

Katu was awesome this time. Dinesh, Aravinda and Ashan and Vishal in Bikes gave a stunning performance. Even y@ga p#re#a in his modified mini. I guess bad luck struck Dinesh J, Pasindu in his Evo 9 and Janaka in his Sti 9. But Pasidu Dominated the Civic Events. Uncle Manam had a bit of Bad Luck too. i guess the official realy were lucky in that accident. Channel Eye gave a super coverage of the Total Event i should say. First time i realy enjoyed the super car event with a full view on all the corners thanks to Channel Eye. Well Done to All the race Drivers.

Its nice to see Pasindu Peries Enter this Category. He is daredevil rider as well as a Driver. He is also very intelligent in Choosing a Evo 9 GT as its competing vehicale. I am sure he will do well. bro starting from the Mitsubishi Tredia Upto the Evo 6.5 i have been a Hardcore Evo and Mitsui Fan. But Last Few Years they have really made Everything Really Badlooking. But machan i guess Mitsui Now have changed their Design Strategy. I guess they have brought out the New Triton / The New Lancer and Evo X and and the Sportero. They all look hot. Hope the New Engines and Technology can really keep up well. There GDI's sucked big Time.

By the Way Don the 1.3 litre does good on fuel if you change gears at low rpm. You rev it up and it does really bad

Had the 1.3 Its a Realy Fugly Designed Cheap Car. No Looks, No Status and No Direction. Front Looks as if it was designed from China and Rear from Taiwan. 1.3 litre is totall underpowered ( I mean what can you expect from a 1.3 ). Its a very Roomy Car. Very Comfortable and Has very GOOD trunk Space and very reliable. GOOD Seating Possition too. But everything interior has no sense of design at all. Reliable car and cheap to maintain. Sometimes you might have problem with the Gear Oil Seal when you put more miles on the engine. Replacement of the PUMP costs around 12000 bucks, ( Parts from the Ag***t may be over priced ) Other than that car is ok, but this is very dull car and may be good for the older generation. But has a Good Price tag of around USD 8500 for the permit. hope it helps.

Ordered My One Too. The cars which have come are on kani permit and will be shipped back. First shipment is of around 5 cars. I ordered a white one. Infact if you have chance try to go and see these cars because its a GT version which has the 2.0 ltr MIVEC High Spec. Its around 155PS GLX is around Rs 4.1 mil and GLS version is 4.5 mil.
