Is is Euro Nippon ? in Wadduwa. They used to have some long time ago..
-
Thats good to hear, thanks.

You could get a alu frame bike, rather than a steel frame. But you need to see the condition of each of them.
-
Should be possible... just connecting a bigger tip to the normal exhaust should not make a big noise.
-
There is hardly a view , since its a/c glass is closed, also glass is something like pespect sheet ? not glass, so not clear plus its not washed. I did not see any hot stewedesess but they did have a movie running...

Nice..

Has anyone of u taken the Expo rail to Kandy ? Its quite nice to see the private sector getting involved in the railways...

Some guys meet up quite early in the morning ( 6:00 am !! ) somewhere near Battaramulla. If you are interested let me know. I plan to join , but after I build up some stamina, not easy when you have put on a few Kgs...

Is this as good as the 3M CF sticker sheets ? or will it just peel off or discolor if used in the exterior of the car ?
-
Thats quite normal, but it will come eventually, once it took close to 3 months. Had some issue with the VIC so had to do the normal service. But you can check with them to see if everything is in order, sometimes they get confirmations from existing owner so there could be a delay.

Thanks, but that 110 looked pretty new.

You need to first sit down a carefully think what u want to do with the vehicle u buy . Basic a to b car or do u have family, kids etc.. etc.. Then narrow down to a specific category, Sedan, hatchback, station wagon etc.. after that look around the Autolanka ads to see whats out there within your budget. After that u can refer the net for reviews etc of that particular model. You get mostly US/EU reviews and the Sri Lankan perspective can be totally different. For this u can ask for reviews or look up old threads under that specific brand/model. People prefer petrol her as its less duty + less problems.

Saw a Defender 110 ( station wagon) with a number starting with " E " , and this is not mentioned in the table. Is it something new ?

Its still not right... below the belt and that's just not cricket.... Oh boo hoo ... ??? sorry I don't understand that type of little school girl talk, now are u crying or are u saying I cry like that ? But seriously, I really haven't had the time to review his post history, I also don't like to dwell too much in the past. But on this particular post, what exactly is the problem ? The guy has gone on a camping trip in his 4x4, and he has included in the specific category under Outdoor 4x4 - trips, put a picture and said something about it.

That comment is of very bad taste, and I am quite shocked that someone would even say such a thing.... Its ok to insult a persons car, but their kids, for gods sake !! Hey Parak : Little word of advice, its ok to put pics of your kids on FB, but NOT in a public place like this where anyone can access to them. There are all sorts of sickos and perverts out there so you should not do this and expose your kids in this way. I am sure they are two lovely kids but that vedio is little messed up, too much jerking and blurred so it looks a little weird. The camping looks fun, and the Aussies make a great deal of this type of place with all fancy SUVs and gear, but SL has some amazing places.

This may not be the case always.. Just like it applies to tyres ( eg: a set of Goodyear made in Germany will be much more expansive than that made in Thailand ), there could be a price difference. Most of this is due to the labour cost, FX rate, freight being different, but the technology used is almost the same. Thai ones might possibly be better as the production plants are newer.

Painting Rims At Home, Where Can I Buy Primmer?
CARBON B4 replied to venomafiax's topic in General Automotive
You might need to look for heat resistant paint. The Dulux shop in Bamba should have. -
Yes, they had virtually every single part to assemble a entire bike...

Ok, I bought a bike !!, went all the way to Ja Ela Sugath, but they did not have that many good used Jap bikes, the ones they had was in pretty bad shape, but they had a lot of Lumala & Tomahawk bikes, brand New. They also had 2 German bikes ( Ghost ? ) but way over my budget ( Rs 65k to Rs 120K ) They had a hard tail 26" Lumala with, Alluminium frame, disc brakes ( front & back), Shimano index type gears ( not the best of the range like the XTR, but still original Shimano). The shape was quite nice as well. It was only Rs 16,500/= , which I thought was a pretty good deal so bought it and was able to pack it inside the car after after taking off the wheels. No quick release wheels, which was the only major disadvantage. Now must start riding it to the gym for a good warm up, the tread mill is kind of getting boring.......

The guy looks totally out of place in the cockpit....

Dam good for the bugger.... he should suffer for his stupidity. We have enough idiots on the road, just like one guy today in a Maruti zen. The light was green and I knew it would change anytime, but this guy in front of me is taking his own cool time when there all other vehicles had gone. I kept hornking at the guy but still driving ever so slow, and by the time the fool reached the lights it changed and he stopped. Fortunately there was a cop with some sense and asked the guy to continue, since there was no other traffic. Good to see cops like that once in a while.

Just stumbled on this thread.... Where is the promised Gallardo ????

Where exactly is this Sugath Cylce in Seeduwa. I called the number given by one someone in this thread but they are in Ja Ela and not Seeduwa. Btw is this one which u fix to the rear tyre ? that's what I am looking for.

What exactly do u mean spiral sound ? The final conclusion of this thread was that a after mkt BOV did not have any great advantages other than the noise against the stock BOV. So mine is still stock so there is not much noise.

Any Luxury Mini-Trucks I Can Import?
CARBON B4 replied to yasas_bandara's topic in General Automotive
Just wondering how your mind " swings " that way..... Forget the bath bath tub, why not just make it a dual a/c cabin, quite simple as you get many refrigerated track cabins.. ( but u should get one where u can control the tempreature, ). Put in a nice comfy bed or two, it will be better than a Hummer, just that it does not have a proper bonnet....
