@Magnum Nope dude. This subwoofer is not available in SL.It’s a rare model made by Pioneer, which can be mounted inside the sparewheel. So I don’t have to sacrifice my cargo space.Ebay has listed the minimum price as $229 excluding shipping costs of over $60.

If it could be brought down by someone in his baggage, then it would be fine. If not, if you bring it down via a shipping company, it'll be charged based on the weight

  2. Go for a GP1.I have driven one around town and from kegalle to katunayaka and return. The car is fun to drive and of course it is spacious. When I went to the aiport the car had 4 people in it and all of them are well over 75kg with two huge baggages.Never felt underpowered during that trip. Also it has a better interior compared to Aqua which has cheap looking plastics layed out in a very plain manner. All the cars have same levels of ground clearance.Dunno much about the IST,but vitz has no options at all.But if you want trouble free driving go for a new Vitz. But you will loose driving pleasure and a lot of options.Anyway its upto you
  3. Are Monroe and Gabriel from japan?are they reliable?I’ve never heard of Monroe?
  4. Can someone PM me the best place to repair Axio dashboard cracks?

    thanks???

  5. Hey guys, As I have to replace the Axio Luxel’s Front Driver Side shock absorber, I’m reluctant to go for KYBs. They are pretty stiff. So one of my friend said that he used to install reconditioned shock absorbers and adviced me not to install KYB since he had to face the same problem. Can somebody explain which is the better choice to maintain the original comfort of the car? I heard that B/new ones from T**ota L**ka are also making the ride stiffer. Therefore if I go for reconditioned shocks which are the most reliable places to buy? Are there any drawbacks of using reconditioned shock absorbers? Please help me to choose a better option.Thank you guys cheers??
  6. I used Kumhos as my front tyres, beause I had to change them in a hurry due to a sudden trip to matara. What I notice is the HIGH ROAD NOISE which begins to crawl into the cabin from 30kmph which extremely annoying. I previously used thai or malaysia made Falkens which currently serves as the rears and they are pretty decent. But with the front Kumhos and rear Falkens I reached 180kmph twice without any vibrations or issues. But the road noise is something seriously noticable From what I heard, Dunlops are comfortable, less in noise but wears pretty quickly.
  7. Can some one give me an advice? Is the CVT issue is present in this model also?
  8. Hello guys, Can someone reccomend me a place to fix the axio dashboard with good quality? How do they fix it? Is it replacing or repairing?
  9. Nope...
  10. Hello guys, Finally I’m happy to say that after many years, I’m going to sell my car and buy an Axio Luxel Alpha. So the car is owned by one of my father’s closest friends and he is the first owner. He personally imported and maintained the car well. At the moment the car has only two issues. One is the famous dashboard cracking problem. Other one is a bad Right side front shock absorber. I have driven the car previously and man that thing pulls hard.So I used my 121 during the same period of mileage but since this has a different engine and a gearbox, I have a doubt about maintaining it. So please give your advice. The car has done nearly 120k kms 1.Do I need to change the CVT gear oil? 2.Where can I get the dashboard problem sorted out and how much will it cost? Most of the advertisements in famous sites have quoted 20k.Is is for the repair or replacement?Which is the best option? 3.I previously used B/new KYB shocks for my 121 and I felt that they are pretty hard.So one of my friends said to use good reconditioned shock absorbers. He also uses them for his 110.If then where is the best and trusted place to buy them?Do I need to replace both right and left ones? 4.The car currently has rim cups.I plan to replace them with original alloys that came with it.Where can I find reconditioned original alloy wheels? 5.Other than that, what are the general maintainence stuff I have to do after purchasing? 6.Is there any known issues for this prticular model? -One more question.Does the Luxel handles better than the G and X versions?Someone has mentioned about a rear stabilizer bar previously in the forum. Is it true?I never had the chance to push it to the limits? So finally I have to let go my good old 121 baby.Since she gave me no troubles during her 6 1/2 year stay, I hope the next owner will have to worry about nothing.I also touched 180kmph twice and the car felt well planted and no stability issues came. Just a bit sad to let her go? Cheers???
  11. I cannot comment on any maintainence or issues. But the problem is, Korean and Chinese made vehicles have poorly fitted interiors. In Carwow review in Youtube,Matt Watson shows us in a Kia Stinger how the center console gives many noises and moves weirdly when we try apply force from sides.I tried the same thing with my 18 year old 121 and it didn’t move or gave any weird noises. I remember about a Kyron of one of my friend’s. It had done only 40k kms but when you close a door the sound gives you the feeling that it’s poorly fitted. Even the armrests on the doors had their fake leather paddings poped up. But the x25 never felt that crappy. Seats are pretty hard and armrests are just plastic covered with a cloth. Material wise it feels cheap.Sometimes the x25 would hold up well as a SL assembled Chinese crossover, but let the time decide...
  12. I have driven the x25 and I think I can give you guys a fair review. I have driven a huge number of various vehicles during past few years and I think my review will be biased on nobody. This was based on 2-3 days drive around Kegalle town (hills, poor roads, bends and straights). It was owned by a relation who lives in bandarawela and I cannot exactly remember the fuel figures. But I will mention everything point wise. -The engine’s acceleration side is a bit sluggish when compared with axios and allions, but I don’t think that’s a huge issue. -Handling is ok for a small suv.I tested it pretty hard, but not bad at all. Ride is a bit stiff. But that’s ok for a small suv again. Haven’t heard any noises when riding on poor roads. -Road noise is a bit high. But not extremely high. -Options and space are excellent for the price you pay. -Interior feels plasticky. The opinions are based on my 2 days use and I tested it pretty hard. The car might have some issues. But, for the price you pay, it is excellent as a brand new mini suv. Good ground clearance is well suited for SL roads. For that price there are better options for comfort, economy and driving pleasure. But as a brand new mini suv, it ticks most of the boxes(but I honestly don’t know about the economy)
  13. Never driven, both. Been a passenger in Tiida. Spacious, but NOT COMFORTABLE. Fuel economy wise both would be equal. On the performance side also. Lancer would be the better buy, but maintenance could be a problem. Please use the search option for more details about Lancer EX, which has been extensively discussed before.
  14. Thanks for your opinion???
  15. Finally i’m ready to sell my good old 121 (budget is okay?) and move on to something new. A close friend of mine owns an Axio Luxel 2007 model, which was imported and used by himself. He also plans to sell it and go for Axio Hybrid. I have the idea to go for that Luxel because I have driven it a couple of times and car is in mint condition, except the dashboard which needs a replacement due to the cracking issue. Also the front suspension needs repairs. Other than that the car is in perfect condition. No dents.Body and interior are perfect. He maintained the car regularly and loves it. Luxel has a good option list like tiptronic, auto parking, pre crash safety and radar cruise control (not even available in 2017 premio/allion).And also I like the 1.8l engine. The only thing that keeps me pulling away is the mileage of 112k kms. What are the running repairs I might face if i bought this? Is it a risk to buy this car instead of going for an unknown civic fd1 with low mileage?(civic might be better in terms of handling, but power wise both might be equal) Please share your valuable ideas Cheers???
  16. The fuel eco depends on how you drive. If 10kmpl is fine(i guess in the city),get an es or an axela.Because both of them would do just about 9kmpl,and i guess 1kmpl difference is not a problem for a guy who wants to buy a 3mil car.Better to have some models test driven. Also the corolla 121 meets your expectations, but it is overpriced and most of the cars are abused.
  17. I don't think so.I know a guy, probably not a friend, who abuses his GP5.High revs are nothing for him and even does drifting. For about 2 years he has been doing this type of abusing and still the car is fine.I dunno maybe in sometime he'll get both of his balls busted by an accident.
  18. Now my mind is between FD1 and FD4.???Fd4 less options.Fd1 less economy.I only drive the car on weekends, therefore my dad is the one who does 90% of driving. We do only about 500-600kms per month. But mostly its dad who fills up the tank.I dunno i'm confused.
  19. I think the low pulling power is just the nature of the car.I've driven a grace for about 3-4kms including hills, stretches and bends. It was also a new car(less than 5000km done).During low speeds,u need to push the pedal hard, but still the engine hesitates to gain power. What I think is the honda's new sport hybrid system is not as smooth as the previous ima system, which was much less complicated. But when the engine is in high revs thats a whole another story.pretty quick. But recently the owner of that grace told me he notices strange noises(he used an insight for about 5 years doing about 150k kms without any issue).Better to get ur car inspected
  20. Fd4 is kinda base version.Fd3 got more options than the fd4.Fd4 even got those black coloured inner door handles, which gives a more plasticy look. But still the fd4's interior looks well put together than the Ex.
  21. Well i think the mazda 3 1st gen got all the bells and whistles enough to compete with the next-gen Axio.Only 2 things that axio got over the mazda are the push start and that safty sense c. Mazda also got the bose audio system in some higher end models. But the interior space keeps me dragging away from it.
  22. Finally made up my mind for the FD4.bit easier to find a one with low mileage for less than 4mil.also heard that hondas are pretty solid and reliable. Anyway i want to know about these little things.i know the Fd1 have them. -does the fd4 has reading/map lights? -and tweeters on the dashboard?
  23. 141-common,less power,lacks options
  24. OMG the driving!!!!and the driver repeats the fact that it is bumpy.man i wonder how a corolla would handle on the same road??.Anyway I gonna focus on the fd4.Thanks for the video.I really enjoyed watching the brutal drive
  25. Oh damn!!!!the engine noise of the lancer????.Man I would be deafened if I race it to nuwara eliya????.Now I'm a bit leaning towards fd4.
