Yes , we had a brand new Maruti Zen Diesel (Zen-D) imported under my Aunty's permit in 1999. This is one of the first two Zen- Diesel cars imported to Sri Lanka (Reg. number was 65-5443 and i have seen only 5-6 Zen diesel cars in Sri Lanka) . Really it did good on fuel and even in side the city, fuel economy was around 17km/l. However diesel version came without power steering and bit difficult to handle until someone familiar with driving it. Car was too heavy. Funny thing is, sometimes pump operators at filling stations forced me to come to petrol filling pumps. Then I had to pointed out the number plate. We rarely used it and sold after three years.

Yes, you can transfer full insurance cover from your previous car to your new car. I had my insurance with 6 years no claim bonus (about 40% of the premium) with c******o for my previous car. c******o told me that I can transfer it to my new car within 3 years. j********i told me that if I get a letter or quotation showing my no claim bonus from Celinco ,they will also give the same discount.

Machan, which signal light cover you are looking for? For front one under the head light or for the side signal light mounted on front fender I bought the left side signal light cover mounted on front fender from A*W Kitulwatte in 2007. It cost me around just Rs.260/= (Genuine Japanese Part). This part is also suit for Suzuki Buddy Vans. You may check with them. But better to visit the place and check. Because then they will show you few Suzuki spare parts catalogues and verify the exact model from you. Then they identify correct part number and check with stores.

Oh, they took more than 2 weeks. This is unbelievable. I paid full amount on 19th May 2011 and received the vehicle on 24th May 2011. Registration was done on 20th May 2011. It won't take that much time. You go and talk to your Sales person and specially to the Manager too. May be your car is already registered. Check with the guy who take the registration part. Don't simply believe their answer. Go and push.

Attanayaka Model (Mitsubishi Lancer C11).: In 1989, when JVP leader Rohana Wijeweera was arrested by the Police at Ulapane while he was appearing as Mr.Attanayaka , a superintendent of a plantation. This incident was telecasting on Rupavahini news and also showed his vehicle Lancer C11. So people started to identify this model as Attanayaka Model.

I am not much aware of Subaru R2. But about Perodua Kelisa, it is imported by (Unimo ) Unit#d Mot#rs and they have spare parts. Also some other shops at Panchikawatte do spares for Kelisa. Also Perodua Kelisa is based on Daihatsu Mira L500 & L700 and most of the parts are compatible with Daihatsu parts.

I just checked Nissan Sunny B13 catalogue I have. (1992, Printed in Japan) Found attached photo. It says “Typifying the Sunny’s edge over its competitors, equipment selection includes, power steering, power windows and power antenna.” May be this is the “power package”. Models show here are, 1.0 JX & EX Saloon 1.3 LE, JX, Ex Saloon , Super Saloon 1.4 JX, Ex Saloon , Super Saloon 1.6 LE, Ex Saloon , Super Saloon Diesel LE

Machan , I also checked power package there. But never found. I am afraid it is locally made name for B13 versions came with P/S, P/M, Power Antenna , Speed Lock ect...
