Seriously you are comparing vehicles on two different leagues. If you can afford a BMW, worth the penny and the package to get along with it. Only problem would be resale and of course parts. Other than those it should be a good buy.

Pelawatta peugeot joint is the best. Just before Isurupaya (education ministry) you should find this. You cant miss this place since you see peugeots parked both side of the road closer to the joint. Cheers

My dad had one too. bought in 1987 and sold it in 1998 for 15 000. When he sold it was a rust bucket. Was such a nice car, I was too small to stop him selling that. And yes the spare wheel was on top of the engine. If i get to own one will be an owner of two Peugeot of different generations.

There are couple of models which came with the same badge. Searching for the small headlight version with no reverse light. Its really hard to get hold of a properly maintained dame.
