I think you don't get the point ,do you?, I was asking if there were any tax benefits if i bring the car for "RACING ONLY PURPOSES, IT WILL NOT BE ON THE ROAD".(I have heard about tax cuts on cars that would be only used for racing purposes in sri lanka). If i wanted to bring a car for my personal use "WHICH WILL INCLUDE IT BEEN USED ON THE ROADS OF SRI LANKA " I will pay the the taxes for so "hingana boys" like you would not be subsiding for our "kakka cars"

Get them gunmetal grey finish komis like these you can find the honda badge in the middle on ebay for few buks this would really blend in with the championship white color
-
happens everyday after uni with my mates hsv, I told him it would pick up much faster at the lights if he took away that bulky sound system from his boot (he is a P plater with a different taste ) of course he fly's past me after .hes got about 480 BHP's under the hood and i got 125bhp's. But at the start line the civic has it's win everytime
-
cheers buddy the car currently has a D15B VTECH from japan, yeh havent found a decent B16A to upgrade to looking around in auction houses for a decent B16A. Yeah but over here in WA the s2000 and type r's are all thrashed and expensive assss . It was real hard to find the EG4 i got, had to wait for over 3 months to find a good one

I didn't say anything about the capability of the car did I? it probably makes a 1000BHP's who cares... I was talking about that spoiler and the aluminum exhaust that was on it. well Mr MD I'll have you know that the car you called a "shitty little shopping trolley" can smoke a HSV grange at the start line. which comes out of the factory pushing over 380BHP and then they get cammed and their exhaust's upgraded which makes them push out 480BHP's at the dyno. It's all 'power to weight ratio', and the ability of the driver. You just happen to be a hater of this car...well I don't really give a rat's ass about that lol
-
Well that is certainly correct, If i bring down a car to sri lanka for my personal use it'll probably be a brand new one. I wanted to know if there was any taxes or benefits when bringing down a used car purely for racing purposes (track only)

Everyone who has a dual citzenship isnt a "kallu suda" di**head, there are sri lankans who live abroad and love's sri lanka as much as you do, so don't judge everyone in that same manner . Since you haven't got a car and can't give a helpful hand when a question is asked just don't talk in my thread okay buddy
-
It's for safety reasons.....well theres no point explaining to you is it, because you havent got a car in the first place
-
Get a car before before you say sh*t about members cars
-
Says you sir who hasn't got the money to buy a car..... I rest my case
-
ummm...the car would be used for spares not used as a daily grocery getter ...and who said about using your tax money to fund it, pretty sure..no hundred percent sure that I won't be needing yours or anyones else's tax money to pay for my things For you info we have payed more taxes than you would in your life time . don't judge every sri lankan who has a dual citzenship as traitors....just because you havent got one for yourself doesn't give you the right to go judging and hating against the ones who have their dual citizenships
-
cheers for the info buddy . I'm a dual citizen, so is there any tax benefits for dual citizens when bringing down the car I use here( without tax or with a minimum tax) one day over to sri lanka for my own personal use?
-
well yeah that decal can be real handy when the tow truck comes to pick you up when in an accident in the tracks
-
haa yeh got a point in sri lanka they wouldnt be much use unless the car is on track every single day
-
lol these aren't decals that you find in your local sticker shop, we are talking about NHRA approved decals, well down here if your car needs to be on the track those 'TOW' decals are a must yeah sure will update more pics soon
-
do you know the minimum acceptable age for a used car to be imported to sri lanka?
-
I see, imports laws to bring down a used import to sri lanka are tougher than the ones we have down here lol
-
awww true is there a way of bringing it in spares maybe and then put it all back together and get it registered over in sri lanka (I know it might take a lot of time and money but is there a possibility?)
-
will upload some more pics soon well you could say it's tinted, I take all my pics this way makes it give that little 'special look' to it
-
well your car is much much... better when compared to this, http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=106401 look at the hideous spoiler and those exhaust (doesnt look like they are even welded in lol). I'm suprised the caldina lights fitted in perfectly onto your sol, did u do any mods when fitting it?
-
Ohh cool like the black color on it are sol's hard to find in sri lanka (havent seen many advertised for sale) bet those headlights are angel lights am I right? looks like the ones off a 98 caldina gt-t. nice car dude it doesn't look riced up that much (maybe take off the bodykit and it'll be ok ) and maybe change the rims to BBS's or volks and you'd have nice sol
-
I'll shut my mouth when I want it to be shut chan5 , you have no right to tell me to do so.........
-
Nice. never let a Honda go to rust . you shipping it back to sri lanka for restoration of doing it over in england?. I'll be sure to follow that thread if it gets created one day
-
well auto correct took this thread a wrong way lol. I do apologise if I have hurt you in anyway MD, we happen to be all honda enthusiast at the end of the day. Well lets get back to what this thread and forum is really about loving Hondas and EG's . I'm off to get some new pics off my baby and expect new pics upload guys No need slapping for you Komis, put your heart and soul onto that integra (as you are doing now) and get that beast ready asap
-
well you just went all disrespectful right now calling my car shitty, it might be a shitbox for a Di**head like you but there are people in this forum who loves this car and has a respect for Hondas. you are right you're better off selling your de sol to some one who appreciates it more than you ever would. I don't really know your Subaru mates who you have been talking to lol, who really cant be your mates because they think you are unworthy lol. hope you have fun with your impreza buddy
