Thanks. Yeah it got a dedicated video card, next I am going to rip it apart and clean. if it does not resolve, I will use the mainboard graphics to verify any issues in video card. Good news is after thermal paste treatment I did not get the problem yet. But, needs some more time to see the stability.

Thanks,,,, Today, I cleaned and reapplied thermal paste between CPU and HeatSink, waiting for the outcome..... Graphics Card could be also a culprit.... need to check that out Meantime,I installed the freeware "Open Hardware Monitor" and trying to figureout what get heated up :{

Dear All, My Desktop computer switches off itself after roaring noise of the CPU fan (HP Compaq i5). This problem started after heavy use of my PC for computations. Now it keep on happening few minutes after switching on the PC. First, the PC freezes, then fan starts to roar, then shut down the PC completely. I cleaned the CPU heat sink and Fan, assuming an overheating problem. Of course, lot of dust accumulated!!!!! But, this solution did not work. If anyone of you have faced this problem and found a solution, I will be really grateful if you could share!!!! Cheers, Vitz

Hi All, I know there is a bunch of electronic maniacs in the forum. I thought of starting a thread encouraging to share your experiences on self repairing electronic devices. It would save all of ours plenty of time, money and ultimately will bring a joy of DIY job. Let me start with the first project This is a repair of an appliance.. Appliance: Electronically controlled (remote) wall Fan. Of cause its a cheap Chinese fan branded by one of electronic appliance dealers. Problem: The fan refuses to start. Standby mode is okay, but when tried to switch on it get switched off it self. Cure: Micro controller of the fan is driven by a capacitor driven power supply. The main capacitor (Polymer capacitor 105 400V (i.e. 1 Uf) get busted to some other reason. Replace it... Cost: 20 Rupees

@Devinda_Z. According to the user manual of 1.2 L turbo (8NR-FTS), Unleaded Regular Gasoline is recommended for CHR. Under Japanese Industrial Standard, octane rating of gasoline must be 89.0 or above for Regular. Thus, it looks that OCT 92 is more than enough for the CHR....
-
Nop, both are turbos' run on 92 without any knocks. I am a believer of OCT 92 on Japanese DMs (As per the user manual)

Hi All, A close look at our Eclipse Cross and and CHR Muffler tail pipes revealed that the inside the EC tail is very cleaned and but CHR tail contains some carbon (see figure below, lt looks bit more dirty than on the figure). Deposit is thick enough to come on to the finger. Recently I cleaned up the tail pipe but it looks that C building happens. Does it mean the CHR needing an engine tune up or any engine issue is popping up. Some details of two vehicles" EC (2018): clocked 12000 km, mostly short distances, but runs in kandy traffic too often. OCT 92 used. CHR(2018): clocked 30000 km. This runs a long trip daily, around 90 km one way in less traffic. We got it when it has done nearly 18,000 km (6-7 months ago). OCT 92 used after we purchase. No sign of oil burning.

Hi Devinda Mostly European Automotive Journalists. I have too realized that their reviews are quite biased. But had no way of verifying that -

Tiv, What I have heard/read in the web is 3008, 5008 are quite reliable machines, though there are reported cases of AC compressor failures. Any good reasons for your statement.........because we too are planning to import a 2008, of course through the agent after the crisis period -

I dont see any issue here. This local agent is not trustworthy and very irresponsible. They used to keep on telling lies and finally just refrain to answer calls. Last year these falks opened Local LCs for permit holders and that caused cancellation of hundreds of permits. Finally, they ended up of paying Rs. 500000 for permit holders as per a court order back to who ordered vehicles from these guys. perhaps your vehicle is yet to be manufactured. Best is to find out a way to check what is actually happening. Better write to PSA group and make a complaint. -
Hi All, We finally decided to go for a Peugeot 2008 (2020) by selling our C-HR. Though CH-R is really nice car to drive but the Claustrophobia conditions made for rear passengers and the stiffer steering (though it's made for better driving dynamics, it makes quite difficult for my wife who drives the vehicle for a great distance daily). Now we are facing a dilemma of whether to go for agent import or the grey import. I don't mind the little difference in the cost between two imports but the Agent asks for nearly 8 months to do the import. But it comes with 3 yr, 60000 km full warranty. The grey import, of course, can be done in two months. I am bit worried to import a European Vehicle without a back up of the warranty. Guys, would it be really difficult to maintain if we import the vehicle through a grey importer?

Hi IRage, This is not true. I know a two of my colleagues who bought vehicles from Australia (one EC) and UK (one 3008) and registered their vehicles as Brand New . They had to go through some extended procedure, but able to register as a brand new vehicle. There should be a loophole in the regulatory system
-
I totall agree with IRage. Just by monitoring the AWD operating information on the meter cluster we can understand this nice piece of technology!!!!
