  1. Options and specs, which result in different prices?
  2. Well, the prob here on AL right now is, the "caravan" is stuck and is creating a huge traffic jam, causing chaos. Hope it'd move on, so that others can go on with their journeys
  3. Painted yellow, and is an AE85. Was quoted 4.5lakhs at that time (though am sure, the real price was around 3.5 or lesser at that time), was at a car sale.
  4. ^^ looks cool & neat
  5. Most police/law related topics turn up at Subaru section, no idea why
  6. @Isam:Yup, not working here also, you could have just given the links rather than posting as images
  7. That's the point, there's a restriction on YOM for car imports
  8. ^^ I think I have seen that car on a car sale sometime back, was a different color earlier, painted yellow recently. And it's an AE85
  9. A relevant video to lighten up everyone, just came across randomly so thought to share with you all
  10. QUOTE (Killer-B @ Jun 1 2010, 03:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Will this have a big effect on the second hand market? I am just about to buy a car....... Should I wait for sometime and see what turns up? I am sure I wont have a second chance to buy that car again..... buy it or leave it? price is 1.85mil That's a silly question, you can wait 3 days the least
  11. Hah hah was wondering the same. But is this a drag event or a normal road race event?
  12. hah hah am doin the same nowadays, besides the weather isn't that bad, will see how long they wud look for tints, but again am sure i would have to take those off front tints someday Btw SeanD, that pic is a repost, but anyway a nice shot really
  13. What do you mean as original alloys? Have seen lot of people using generic alloys on Allions, Corollas ...etc, so I think you are better off with those
  14. lol. but there are genuine used jap ones for 12-15k range
  15. Yeah, most are AE85s and some Ae85s were even manufactured in 1986-87 The badge, Levin\Trueno GT-S?
  16. Dude, wth?? He shouldn't be banned or anything. He hasn't done anything wrong or hasn't broken any forum rules or anything, rather than providing us with unlimited OT humor along while talking about his BS once in a while. And am sure he has no plans to run away scared, coz he sounds like a strong, not retiring gentleman. So am sure most of the active members here wouldn't like him to be inactive
  17. Hah hah I got one too sometime back, a rhyming one as i remember lol, but I did reply with proper respect to the old fellow
  18. Hah hah omg best of luck with that and make sure you disconnect his internet connection and let him spend his time in some other useful way than arguing with others & boasting about him on AL. And also buy some 3wheels with no horns to service our country's transport industry
  19. True. Have heard that some popular Jap wheel manufacturers, test their wheels for different conditions, like temperature tests, shock tests, and are tested to out perform even in beyond real world conditions. But other Chinese, Taiwanese manufacturers makes exact replicas of famous Jap branded wheels, but they couldn't be considered reliable as the originals.
  20. Dude, you can't read and understand nor write a reply properly. I din't say all 3wheel drivers are buggers, so I din't insult all, even I have friends, classmates who are 3wheel drivers, who make a living out of their 3wheels. But whatever, it is sad to say that most of them are careless buggers. Coz almost 50% of them are taught to drive by another 3wheel driver and aren't taught about common road rules, which is a trend that goes on and on for generations. So their lack of education about laws and lack of discipline gets all of them a bad impression to the whole community
  21. Well, I can be WRONG, but I guess, our Sir wouldn't be much fond of Sinhala language (Coz even his English writing is super-perfect ) Besides according to him, he is from a well educated, English schooled background, who probably is from some Royal family, as he states he was born with some spoon, though he din't state where the spoon was when he was born....
  22. I also guess most are same. Except different materials are used at different instances for different needs, like some are lightweight forged ones for racing, some dish type ones are heavy but look better imo. So anyway if it's a mid range passenger car, you could find a lighter 15" wheel they would be almost similar to a stock one except for the profile, which also would be fine on a 15". Anyway we also got a 14" Taiwanese one (D*rwin racing) for a van last week, though it was a bit wide, I guess maybe it was lighter than the OEM steel rims, I din't weigh but just a guess
  23. Wow wow, lovely, hah hah this thread is gonna deliver some epic posts, cheers dilesh!! Anyway this is worthless if we don't have a pic of our list member who has won everyone's love, the knight in polished armor Ok, here's my reply.... Dear Sir, Ok, sorry I din't expect you would compare your self to a tyre, whatever you say, tyres get worn out over time and if we don't retread the tyre or replace it, there's a higher probability of running on the rims pretty soon, so don't regret later Nooo, i never asked you to retire, why would I, how can I? After all you are decades older than me, you deserve respect, though you don't earn it around here Anyways, people do small mistakes like that, not everyone tries to act perfect like you, so don't mind. Ya, I'll also pray to god that you stay active on this forum to deliver us all the humor and make us more active on this forum
  24. I assume you meant "retired" here, and not "retarded" Anyways, usage of the word "Silver spoon" on your posts, does give us members of the list, a good impression about you I also assume Kandy police sounds a bit retarded when it comes to theis tint law. My bro was advised to remove all tints on a van
