  1. Wagon R premium is the model offered by the SL agent which looks similar to the JDM Wagon R FZ but optionwise it may differ. Stingray is a higher grade of Wagon R with more bells and whistles like head up display and other safety features. Also one thing I noticed that the LED pattern of the brake lights are different in these models.
  2. Last time I checked Rav4 ICE 2.5L at TL is 20.5 million. You can by a same era Toyota Harrier for 15 million with more bells and whistles. Also Lexus NX 300h is going for 16 million.
  3. If the OP really wanted to jump into a Euro, don't you think he would just go and buy one rather than comparing it with a jdm econobox with 10 years old technology?
  4. Sorry. No idea about that. I don't think they pay much.
  5. Didn't someone here say the new Vezel comes with a CVT gearbox?
  6. Never thought things would fall into this level
  7. There are places to collect worn out tyres set up by DSI.
  8. What I have experienced in both my Axio and CHR is the seat belt indicator for the driver blinks when you start the vehicle, but the audible alarm activates only when you exceed the speed of 20kmph. For the front passenger, the indicator only blinks if there is a passenger on the seat ( should exceed the weight of 20kg? -not sure). Same as the driver's the audible alarm activates only when you exceed the speed of 20. No idea about the rear passengers.
  9. The thing is Sri Lankans prefer sedans/ sedanish over hatchbacks. Even though Civic 1L is a hatch it looks more like a sedan. Also very roomy for a hatch. That may be the reason it is more popular in SL. (Yeah, the price is low too and looks lovely) Corolla hatch looks a lot like a typical hatch. For me it looks better than the civic. And guess it's fun to drive too. But you know us Sri Lankans are very different kind of people. One might think why to spend around 6.5 million for a hatch when they could buy a aqua or a fit for less than that. These days drivers are concerned more on how much fuel they can save per km than riding pleasure.
  10. I've got a 1.2L turbo AWD. My daily route is from Delkanda to Borella. During peak hours I get 7-8 KMPL During non peak hours I get 11-12 KMPL Depends on driving style also. I guess premio has amazing fuel figures in Colombo
  11. Not exactly. I agree that Toyota axio, allion and premio lack that quality but the new Toyotas built under TNGA platform such as CHR, Corolla hatch have that special feeling when you drive it.
  12. Toyota CHR Honda Civic hatchback Toyota Allion Toyota Axio hybrid WXB Mazda 2 hatch/sedan Nissan Leaf
  13. I felt engine braking more when I shift to S or B These slight jerks at low speeds are normal for CVTs I think
  14. Actually these "dostharala" buy the premio than the C-HR. In my hospital there are about 15 New premios and I'm the only one who is having a C-HR. When I took the C-HR for the first time to the hospital, they all came to inspect it and make sure they made the better choice by buying a premio over C-HR. Their main concerns were that premio has electric seat adjusters and C-HR has electric lumbar adjuster only. They also made sure to check my average fuel economy on my display and it was 11.6 kmpl since I bought it. They were like " Ayyo meke thel karan naane. Premio eka 20K withara karanawa." I stayed silently when they were complaining about the body shape too. Recently I went to Ambewela and came. I really enjoyed the ride. It handled the curves very well ( comparing with my previous141 axio, it is a big improvement) The 1.2L turbocharged engine gives enough boost to climb the hills and also during overtaking. I'm quite happy about the ground clearance too. All the techs inside also gives a quite futuristic feel.
  15. Is that so? Then we should be very proud as a nation like we are very proud of our loving and caring Mic#o
  16. What is the price tag for Toyota Rush at Toyota L#nka?
  17. For this budget you'll be able to get the C-HR ST grade. It's going around 6.5 to 7 million. GT grade will be around 7.5. If you look harder you'll be able to grab a second hand GT for less than 7million. More bells and whistles than axio, allion, premio or Vezel. Fun to drive too.
