    why don't you consider an estima (hybrid). It has 7 seats. And I can see non of them on the roads. So your friend can be one of the proud owners of them .

    That's so me Crosswind. You go on, get yourself a 141. Pump fuel with extra money and if there is more, pump some into your other holes as well.

    It is not only the reverse camera dude! If you want more just get this. The 2008 141s which were sold for Sri Lankan and Thailand marcket had the old 121 engine.It was a reasonable idea of toyota because by that time 121 was very successful with fuel economy and very popular.But they did some ridiculous thing by reducing the power output by 5% of the engine and remapped the engine to give more power lowdown .and also the car was 100-150lb heavier than the 121.But toyota corrected this mistake silently by replacing it with the new vvti engine in 2011.And also 141 comes with normal auto gearbox which is another reason for bad fuel economy whereas axio comes with cvt gearbox which is very economical plus JdM has better suspension as mentioned above. Ground clearance? bullsh*t. I don't think it matters with all these carpet roads and highways. It matters if you are living in an area with bad roads.

    Are you seriously considering a 141 as your first car dude ? I mean that could destroy your faith in cars and lead you to buy a bicycle. Anyway if that is your wish these days 141 (2008) goes around 2.7M which is cheaper than axio(2008) which is around 3.2-3.5M. But if you consider about fuel economy axio is better than 141 In what universe did you get that. I agree that axio X grade doesn't have a rpm meter but x limited and G grades have. And Axio comes with factory fitted reverse camera which is not included in 141. And axio has every option available with 141. The most important thing is axio is the domestic version of corolla which is manufactured in Japan . Most of the 141s available in Sri Lanka are Malaysian made.

That is the seat height adjuster. I don't know whether it comes with x grade.

    Are you sure about this? Because one of my friends have the same car and I've heard different. And even though it is a hybrid ,it has a 2.5L engine.

    Thanks Don. Actually this is my brother's. He works in the estate sector in Nanu oya. You know the condition of roads there. So I think these figures are reasonable. But I will try what you've suggested.

    I agree with his suggestion. You can do better for the same price than Zen. Other than what is mentioned here ,if you could add 1or 2 more lacks you can go for swift jeep model, march k12, kelisa or even a starlet which are trustworthy than Indian Marutis

    I used to have a fb15 from 2001-2011 which was a 1998, supersaloon,manual. Very good on fuel, did around 12kmpl in Colombo and 15kmpl outstation. During those ten years once it encountered a problem with crank sensor. The mechanic said problems with sensors is very common with fb15 model.     13.4 M for that stupid RAV4. Toyota Lank* has always been very expensive. We could buy a BMW X3 or Range Rover Evoke for that money

    I have 'googlemaps navigation' on my smartphone with voice guidance. Serves well for me. Almost free except for data charges. It comes with that sexy female voice.

    It is available in Sri Lanka as Nissan Dualis , Ginger. Actually Chevrolet Captiva is not that popular in Sri Lanka. If you seriouly consider about resale value go for a RAV 4, Nissan Dualis is also the same as RAV 4 in many aspects but here comes again the 'resale value'
