Here is an Imgur album of some of mine : http://imgur.com/a/grm3t It'snot terrible i guess. But you might need tweaking the exposure value to your liking. There is a slight blur to the left/right corners of each snap. Not sure if this is due to some dirt on the lens (couldn't really check as im at work now). On video plackback it looks a bit better than the snaps might suggest.

It has an inbuilt battery. After one full charge (which takes around 2 hours), the unit is capable of recording 2-3 hours of video using the battery (so it says in the manual. So far I have only used it unplugged for maximum 45 mins). @arun-online I found that setting the exposure value to +2/3 helps with the darkness issue.

Interesting Or Usefull Android Games/apps
ramishkad replied to Magnum's topic in PC and other Console Games
Some apps I use, which have a Sri lankan flavor : Road.LK - Crowdsourced traffic alerts for Srilanka https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lk.road SL Train Schedules - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lk.icta.mobile.apps.railway Bhasha Puwath - SL news aggregator - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lk.bhasha.puvath Some other SL apps funded by ICTA can be found here too - https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=ICTA+Sri+Lanka -
A video on how it looks, for those who are curious

Good idea. None of my friends were interested as we all thought this wouldn't work . I sort of bit the bullet and ordered anyway. Next time I will post here too. Cheers.

@arun-online Thanks for the details. I guess I'll fiddle with the settings more and see. @Others, Bit of a feedback about this item I posted sometime back http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rain-X-RainX-Windshield-Solution-Repels-Water-3-5oz-/270888055923?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f122fb473&vxp=mtr Initially I thought this was a scam and after using it, I'm impressed. This will seriously change the way you drive in wet weather. With shipping it would cost around Rs2500. I have applied it only once so far, and the effects have lasted after 2 weeks.

Hi, I got mine delivered couple of days ago. Today only I got the chance to mount it and try it out. Did you change any settings other than defaults? My 1080FHD quality is nowhere close as yours. It's sometimes dark and blurry.

Honda Confirms Plans To Discontinue To The Insight Hybrid
ramishkad replied to VVTi's topic in General Automotive
It was a fault in the controller software. Recalls are to correct that. You can say it's a failure just because of a software fault. -
Honda Insight Japanese Domestic Different Grades
ramishkad replied to Naveen317's topic in HONDA SRI LANKA
"Engine type: inline 1339 cc SOHC 4-cylinder" Isn't there and 1500cc Insight? Are those in non JDM models? -
Thanks for the info. Ordered!

This is awesome. Couple of questions if you could provide some info on. 1. Does this require an additional cable to connect to the OBD2 port? Or is it plug and play? 2. How is it powered? Is it battery operated? Do you know any consequence of having a device constantly connected to OBD2 port and running the car has some ill effect?

I cannot find an attachment. Is the power steering indicator on?

By engine area cleaning did you mean doing an engine wash? I don't think you need to do engine wash on these newer vehicles. It can cause some sensors to go bonkers so do the research first if you really must do it.

Looks to me like a 1stgen Pajero. Our of curiosity, do regular full insurance packages cover incidents like this?
-
Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy your new ride! I second Watchman's suggestion to go with the Agent to resolve those issues as it seems to be the most reliable approach (although it might cost a tad bit more). I would suggest you pump only Super Diesel into this vehicle. From what I know, the engine on 2008 Kyron requires 50ppm sulfer Diesel. Can someone please confirm this? As for insurance, I went with SLI on my previous car and the current. On my previous I had two large claims ( 1lakh and~3lakhs ) and got them both without a hitch.

I was merely commenting on the generalization of hybrids argument. I wasn't enforcing my opinion on anyone. Sorry for going off topic anyway.

I guess it all comes down to personal preference and driving habits then. I drive a Civic Hybrid and never found it boring. Of course, it's nothing like the 1.8 Civic but still beats the hell out of something like an Axio. The CRZ driving experience is even better (at least for me).

Ever driven a Civic Hybrid mate? Or the CRZ Hybrid?

Regular suction cups do get affected by heat.I had a cheap phone holder whichs suction cup turned black due to heat! It would get detached from time to time and I had to re-attach it again. Still worked though. Some gadgets come with a washable glue/gum at the end of the suction cup. I believe these wont get detached due to heat for a long time.

Need A Modified Lancer Ck2/ck1

Plot twist : OP is actually the owner of one of those cars and this thread was an attempt to make the ad go viral. -
Haha. Didn't Toyota and Mazda reach an agreement to license Synergy Drive tech to be used in Mazda just recently though? Although in this case I dont know why the Mazda was polluted with a Hybrid badge. That is a downgrade!

Thank you for the info on this cam. I have ordered one as well.

Petrol Stations You Should Avoid
ramishkad replied to Niranjan de Silva's topic in General Automotive
Hi, What is the deal with Euro-3 petrol fuel which is available at IOC? I believe that's Octane 93. Between IOC Octane 95 and Euro 3, which is less harmful to engines? This question was asked previously in this thread http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/13513-what-is-the-different-between-euro3-and-95-octane/ , but I asked here again to see if there is a better answer. -
For me none of the cars listed above. But this http://bit.ly/1giGLZe a good contender. It's like the car has a mind of its own, man.
