  3. Turns out the hissing noise is a norm for Lancer EXs. Who knew? Harry_aq, Bracket, can you guys shed any light on this? http://www.lancermotoringclub.com/showthread.php?12819-Hissing-sound-from-under-carriage http://www.lancermotoringclub.com/showthread.php?45505-Hiss-sound-from-undercarriage http://www.lancermotoringclub.com/showthread.php?42475-Hissing-Sound-from-undercarriage http://www.lancermotoringclub.com/showthread.php?21510-buzz-buzz-sound-at-the-rear http://projectlancer.net/forums/topic/20913-fuel-pump-making-a-hissing-noise/

  7. Thanks Dushyantha, the sound doesn't appear until the engine starts.
  8. Hissing sound update. So the car was taken to Kandy UM service center. The mechanics' response was "ah oya petrol pump eka wada karana sadde ne - onema petrol engine ekaka oya sadde enawa" So the update is, according to the latest emissions test report the HC (HydroCarbon/Unburnt fuel?) amount is increased. Is this connected to the hissing noise? If so what should be done to rectify this?

  19. Wow. just did the numbers and the premium came exactly 2.1% of the market value. Never bothered to find out that fact. Anyhoo the insurance company honored every claim so far without any hassle and I went to authorized agent for all accident repairs.
  20. Atleast I hope they would restart evoX production, or the e-Evo they were talking about
  21. It's just the drunk evo fanboy in me speaking, not the rational self, hence the "hammered" emoticon To be honest drunk or sober I'll deffa choose the evoX over GTR anyday
  22. Suzuki admitted to improper fuel economy testing methods on 16 of its automobile models since 2010 in a statement released Wednesday. The company said the testing methods used were different from those required by Japanese rules, but that proper testing of the vehicles showed no need to amend the fuel economy data. Despite the irregular testing methods, Suzuki denied accusations that it had deliberately falsified data to make their vehicles seem more fuel efficient. "Any wrongdoing, such as manipulation of fuel efficiency data, were not found," it said in the statement. It also said the 16 models affected were sold only in Japan. Suzuki stock plummeted 15 percent Wednesday after reports began circulating that the company could be tied to a mileage cheating scandal currently surrounding Mitsubishi motors. "The company apologizes for the fact that we did not follow rules set by the country," CEO Osamu Suzuki told reporters, adding 2.1 million vehicles were affected. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-mitsubishimotors-scandal-suzuki-motor-idUSKCN0Y90AK
