  1. Wow for 260k the interior and exterior was mint on the pictures.
  2. Its a sad ending indeed. I also have a similar experience with my car, when I bought my car the mileage showed as 18,000kms but was lucky I checked the JVIC online and figured out it was 40,000kms. I didnt bother too much just that remember that on service intervals. But how did you managed to verify the correct mileage ?

Its indeed an eye opening saying. Thank you Mr Sylvi. Always an avid reader of your comments.
  4. Perodua Bezza
  5. Get a new set of pistons and ring sets, it fixes the issue. Issue is with the piston ring grove design. Once you replace the pistons and rings with the new design it works. I did just that and issue never came up again until I sold the car. Buying an unknown engine is too risky and not worth.
  6. Really hard to tell. Is it an Opel Astra ?
  7. Aha yes. ? Please take my turn if you wish.
  8. Already a new Civic? The current gen still seems hot out of oven.
  9. Mm, Honda BRV?
  10. Looks like the new Rush to me.
  11. What? There is a color code called Mazda? ? anyways that color looks great on your car.
  12. Nissan GTR?
  13. Please someone take my turn.
  14. Mark X ?
  15. I knew you will get it And that's interesting. Wiki says it actually shares the same platform as Lexus HS.
  16. Something common, yet so rare.
  17. Is it Isuzu TXD lorry ? Remember most were in identical blue.
  18. Always enjoy reading your blogs, great writeup again ! And you have chosen a sensible option I would say. Something we can park anywhere (legally of course :D) and go, something to do all the dirty stuff without worrying of scratches, dents or bird poo etc. Something which can go over humps, trenches with no regret, Such a peace of mind ! ? But when its a beater, I guess the key thing is keeping the money you put in to the car to minimum. Not getting too carried away with the modifications and upgrades, or else we are losing the objective of a beater car.
  19. Every modern car these days comes with one time clips you have to replace. And a CHR is just another car, so a decent mechanic can do the repair and refix. But do you really want to do the repair? By the looks of it, it seems just 1" long to me. Do you really want to repaint the whole/part of the bumper just for that ? If I were you I would wait until I get more scratches and dents to do a complete pait job. ? As bumpers are always prone to such. That way you could save the NCB on insurance as well. No experience with TL, but the 'agent' doesnt always gurantee excellent service.
  20. What a waste of money and time.
  21. Absolutely same case here, its a part time coconut transporter for my dad as well. Can easily carry 20-30 coconuts in one go. ?
  22. May I suggest the Suzuki Swift as they call it the Jeep Model. (Ignis) 2004. Much more spacious than the ones on the list and the starlet. My father uses one for 10 years as a second car for all the hardy work. (It almost get the job done of a pickup truck) The good ground clearance has been really advantageous. And its done almost 200k and no major repair so far. Just wear and tear.
  23. Yup.
  24. Can recommend NWB. Got them delivered from Gree**monkey.lk. Been using them for like 1 year now, no issues.
  25. I guess you tried the online search on jpauction right ? It doesnt usually return the report, I suppose unless no one has already paid and retrieved the report so that it will be added in the repository. You'll have to pay 20$ and order a manual search for the chassis no. It takes couple of days, but it will work. And as I recall they dont charge the card if they can not find it.
