hey guys need your expertise on this. My car is a 1991 Carina AT170 with M/T.. for the past 3 weeks car was parked on the garage. I did start the motor once in a while. but didn't move her.. now when I checked today I found out that I'm unable to change gears.. what could be the reason ? This only happens when the motor is running, i can change the gears when motor is switched off. and there is no visible oil leak.

I was having a chat with my father in-law last evening. he told me that his company has ordered some Hilux doublcabs few months back, initial lot they have received for 8 mil.. and the recent lot they have received for 4.8 mil or sumthing. apparently Toyota axio and the allion also selling closer to 4.8 mil. -

Mate not sure if this helps. there is a small jont sorta thing in the middle if the steering column ( Like a Cross ) some times the streering gets stuck cuz of this joint.. ask your Mec to check it

a bit OT. I saw on one of the news papers that 3 people how drowned it a tank near sigiriya. Apparently they were lorry drivers who came with the racing teams.

Dude think twice before going for so called "bud" (or what ever u call it) vehicles. Cuz these days there is a high probablitiy of getting caught. And safety wise we don not know i which status the car might be. And u cant say that u will not meet with an accident. no matter how good u drive u there are people who will come and ram your ride from front/back/side. trust me on that. Anyways all the best

yes as mini said its not GDI.. my bro-inlaw has got one and i think its a pretty neat little vehicle with 4WD and 2WD modes.. but its 2 door.. and as far as I know its OK on fuel too.. im talking about somthing like this http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/7940/mi...pajeromini101.j im sure u can find a good one for less than 1.5 mil
