  1. Hi janith

I have no good knoledge of vehicles

But i bought a 4dr5.there is a problem on starter motor.if u have any manual plz give me.

  2. M30 is running good with traction with the use of semi-slicks(full race slicks are not allowed as its a true street category) and running full standalone, there's a few interesting in the line up 2 e36 328i's and an e36 m50 3.0l stroker, in here everything is expensive
  3. there were two e30's in the races, black one has an m30 swapped, the white one has a standard m40, there are two more e30's one with an m42(e36 motor with disa) and a another with an m44 swapped, and there's one coupe and one vert(pre-facelift) in SL, BMW scene is really at the early stages because of support, we'll if anyone one like could join the small race community, we just race for fun, thats why its still in the true street category
  4. Maintaining an e30 is not much of a hassle, when getting an e30 most important thing check for rust, if its a 316i/318i improper maintenance usually leads to camshaft wear in m40's, parts arent that too expensive, unless your going to add premium options, e30 is good for a daily driver really good on fuel plus you dont have to do oil service as frequent as in a jap car
  5. If its M40 and the current owner is a fan of changing parts, check for ticking sounds of camshaft, m40 has an issue where the camshafts and rockers wear out quickly because of poor maintenance and stucked valve adjusters
  6. yea, spot on Don, cant rush, have to give time, i know atleast this will take atleast a another month or so
  7. i didnt get that either, but he wanted to what happened to the missing evidence of a first party involved in the accident, its not that easy to argue with the ombudsman, he's more like an arrogant old guy who wants to have the total control, its better to let him do his thing the way he want
  8. Yes @Crosswind, that eye witness claim is already proven not reliable by the ombudsman
  9. yea, i do understand what you mean Don, im not giving up, i have the cards, i use a lawyer for the letters cz there's a gravity those letters than the way we write, they have started dragging things again saying private investigation officer not available, i cant intervene on that, gonna wait a another week or so and ask ombudsman what we suppose to do
  10. This inquiry is conducted by the ombudsman, not the insurance company, insurer is SLIC, i contacted the ombudsman's office they said inquiry is at end of the month, ombudsman is waiting to give things officially till he wants to know what the So called Private investigator and the technical officer has to say regarding there reports, btw i talked to an guy the SLIC, he said even-though the ombudsman give a letter saying to accept the claim, it still has to be approved by the SLIC board of engineer, its a good lesson for my for trusting a government institution for the first time, should have gone with V*P or something, to date its been 7 months, and Got to know SLIC even dont entertain appeals
  11. waiting for the letters, as there is a another inquiry for the investigation officer involved and the technical officer, after that i'll get the letters, they say even after that its a board decision to accept the claim
  12. We'll Finally After Months, Ombudsman stepped in, found out they were just bluffing without any provable evidence, and they have broke ut most good faith by hiding evidence in favor of my, so now time to hit hard on them
  13. i dont think there is such thing for a 4DR5 engine, and the fuel filter housing is designed in such a manner that, water and containment can be drained off from the nut located below the fuel filter housing
  14. Hi Don, i know about the adaptive servicing, that's why i mentioned as threshold, i know it consider a lot, range, temp, time(e46 has a max duration of 714 days) and some, brake pad's i cant comment on an Auto as i have never owned an Auto vehicle , will look into more on this , Thanks Don
