  1. Mitsubishi's have big turning circles. Yolur power steering system is strained when you turn the st.wheel to the max and hold on, so keepm it in mind when you're making U*Turns. Or don't do it. If possible have the steering system checked and adjusted As for the damage already done, try and get dome power steering conditioner. it might help . P.s I've never heard of our guies changing power steering fluid.
  2. Maybe it's time for an inspection of the entire exhaust system by a pro exhaust workshop. Be warned. since the system is old ,who ever looks at it will recommend a new one. As to weather this will solve any of your probs is another story.
  3. This may be too late. but can we have the old animated emojees?
  4. Considering all aspects of age, known issues, and brand relative to where you are, NO. The car is best valued as a doner for spares themselves. Q: Any idea of the A/c? you'll die without it.in the Middle East.
  5. Resonator - nothing to get blocked
  6. Good, the mixture/engine is within spec to pass the test. possible, if it has a Cat . but your car is a new import. and taking account it's age, unlikely to have one. Furthermore, a blockage in the exhaust system will be noticed all the time., not when it reaches operating temp. But definitely worth looking at. Also possible with a minor leak in the exhaust system causing the uneven exhaust note.
  7. These guises prob, saw stars with results of Zero!
  8. Have u changed the air filter?
  9. Congrats bro on your independance gained with motoring.. I'd consider my self;f lucky to be able to dispose such an amount for my first car. Just keep in mind that the first car is not your last. Therefore unless you happen to be the owner of a money tree, I'd spend wisely.Thinking of 1. Insurance - Fully comp costs a lot no matter who you get it from. 2.kik-ass stereo upgrade + wheels.(otherwise you'll look like you borrowed you gramp's car) 3. once you blow this budget you can't be seen on anything less.when you upgrade this one. cheers TT
  10. I've seen a guy adjust engine speed by turning the dis. Doh! Getting more giddy-up from a car has 1001 things working together, speed is a bi-product. of combustion and efficiency.
  11. I've added Wash & Wax car-wash to my windscreen wash and had good results.
  12. Good show bro! thanks for the hard work'. Cheers, TT
  13. 1 vote 4 Vitz. but don't even want be seen dead in one!
  14. A+. Now we can eliminate tank vacuuming. ...now for the ignition system P.s. Are you sure that your brakes are not binding with extended driving?
  15. .This hiccup may have nothing to do with the carb.
  16. I'm tempted to go back to my original comment,.. our friend needs a proper tune up. not a DIY hack! And running like this to the eco test is a bad idea
  17. Unless you have a sticky auto choke, working backwards, it's unlikely your carb is giving a prob,..especially when it's hot Although it would be good to do a clean up of it and replace air+ + fuel filters p.s. check if your fuel tank is vacuuming by driving till, it has it's hiccups and opening the fuel tank lid. tell us what you see.
  18. ----Start with a complete clean up by removing everything inside.all seats + all carpets then spray roachkill .any animal needs, oxygen, water , food. Deny any one thing and they die out.

    Wheel Alignment

What our friend is referring to is wheel alignment which does not render the tyres useless in a matter of a few thousand km's. I've noticed over the years, that even though most "Good ' places have adequate machinery, do do a proper alignment check and adjust, They don't so they can sell the victim-customer new tyres when he comes complaining of irregular tyre wear. This is specially hard hitting on the wallet when it comes to 4wd's.
  20. http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/17850-when-to-change-atf/ ENOUGH SAID! TT.
  21. Correction, The last Magna was named the 380 . Which had the 6G75 3800 v6 Engine . So why is it not made any more?Cos Mitsu Australia couldnt keeep up with the unprecedented demand? AND WAS BOUGHT IN SL BY PEOPLE WHO HAD MORE MONEY THAN BRAINS.! http://www.carsguide.com.au/car-reviews/mitsubishi-magna-and-verada-used-review-1991-2005-13641 Mitsu isn't the first car plant to close down in recent times after Nissan-Holden tie up. and will be followed by the rest by 2019 Some advice you're giving. Might as well ask this guy to buy an Isuzu Gemini while you're at it
  22. looking from a practical side Yes, you'll have a loving relationship with fuel stations,. From an engineering point , The car was a failure from the start , with the Pajero sourced 6G74 3500cc V6 engine with overheating and transmission headaches. and therefore no longer in production due to bad sales.
