    Cool project, Do keep us updated on the stages/progress of the car. First step will have to be finding a good non crashed relatively rust free starter. early modles had drums all round so yuou might wanna upgrade thgem and booster assisted master cylinder. we'll get to the A/c later.

    Hi and welcome, Starting with safty first. what size tyres/wheels are you havingand are the wheels steel? Then you can upgrade to an alloyset and matching tyeres , keeping the same tyre hight - lowering profile with matching increase in rim width.

    When this happnes, open the petrol cap and seeif there's a vaccume. IF so, the fuel tank may be vaccuming to the point of fuel starvation to theengine.

    Modern car makers don't give a br-in period. butas a general rule, keep to the following,.. No full throttle for the first 5.000km . no sustained high speed travel over 100km/h.

    Hi and welcome. In asking your detailed question, you have answerd your self partly. If you decide to buy it, get the timing belt looked at.as a clocked odo- meter dosn't recondition the belt. As for off roading, your car is as good as it's tyres. sio geta new set. better suited for light duty work, and make sure you have a trackter handy to pull you out when you get stuck in mud.?
