  1. Could be it's time to replace your thermostat valve. Get your water pump checked. and properly bleed the cooling system with the heater on. Most important, is the car leaking any coolant?

    Throttle Prob !

    + Sugest getting a pro to have a look at your prob as you may have a bigger prob in the throttle gets stuck open. .
  3. You're driving a Honda where the engine developes it's best efficiency at a higher rpm,.. + Check the ATF level and quality with the engine idling after t had warmed up just for safty.
  4. check if your knock sensor is working properly.as it adjusts the engine settings to avoid it pre detonating.SL high octain stuff has been discussed in depth here and has been causing probs to owners for as long as I can remember. It is possible that you got an extra shot of kerosene in your lst fill-up.? Don't wash the engine.electronics and water don't go togeather,..and make the most complexed hard to find faults.from abs to engine mis-fires.
  5. No matter who replaced the clutch, they will not look into the operating mechanism of it. Get it looked at on both ends (master and slave) as you may havev a prob with the hydraulic system operating it.

  9. The vehice is being driven in a hot climate, I would not be fazed by it but just check the coolant level in the expansion tank.then move to further checks in-depth,... p.S. Most of our drivers don't look at the temp gauge even when the engine is steaming ,..!

  11. It is unlikeley that you'l find this part in a shop.You may look for a reco door and get it off it

  17. Pls upload a pic of the indicator. Start by checking the level of the coolant when the engine is cold. TT.

  19. First of all the Diesel model is Sb13. It has an eefficient 1.7l diese engine. most of these imported to SL are for the permits. and aree in basic trim. Good luck finding a usable example. TT

  23. The thermostat valve would have been removed to curtail an over-heating condition, AS you've mentioned, the cooling system is having issues andv has lead to serious failiure.get the cooling fan /temp sensor/relay test + the head with a leak test.
