by all means man. thats why the gracious guys at autolanka have a section called "specific makes" dont know if maruti, geely is there.. but upon request i am sure you can have ur own communicty there giving advice on those makes...

A*W must be doing really badly for u to try this hard to change the minds of forum members to some cheap indian mentality.. if u wana talk about impratical how about those bloks who drive thier hummers to work and social visits... this is sri lanka.. we are an aspiring nation... not at all like india where price wins over any thing... i like to think sri lankans have much better taste... and which they do... and by the way.. No way is toyota going to sell to india or honda... and if that happens.. still we will buy the brands that are jappnese or europioin owned...

NO.... thats coz they are not boy racers... personnaly all the idiots who come to race with me are buggers who drive thier parents car and have convinced them to put a loud exhaust and some fancy bits to the poor family car... shame so please understand that people have tastes... just because u are down to earth u just dont go and buy a maruti.. its a budget car for people on a strict budget and need four wheels... personally i wouldnt buy one to save my life.. no offense to anyone who uses it...plus i feel with my heavy foot i might break that tiny thing.. because i did manage to break a cherry QQ by over reving that chinese poodle...

i have personally met master don and can safely say he is no HOLA...... and guys come on.. this rif raf has to stop... this thread started off as a guy wanting to get our opinions on tricking out a maruti.. and look where we are now.. personally i have respect for masterdon former helrazor for what he has acchived... also gihan has done a commendable job to his scooby.. and i wish i had the success and the dough to do half of what u guys can acchive.. so take a chill pill and just give the thread starter what he intends to get.. which i think we have answered more than once already...

well well well... this was quite interesting.. yo EK3 hope u dont work in A*W man.... if u really wanna do the maruti up.. i feel u should do it... but as the wise guys here have mentioned it will cost u a considerable amount of dough to get it done right.. and when u are done i feel u wont have a maruti anymore... and the shape of the vehicle doesnt make it any easier either to get it to look aerodynamic.... sooo hmmmm.... however maybe putting a 1.3l in there if the space permits with an defa upgrade on the brakes might make that lady bird fast of the blocks me thinks... at least u could beat a few cars on the first 200M me feels.... my 2 cents...

i know.. just feel those kits were made because either the owners didnt know what they wanted and let the guy who is doing it decide.. or they just wanted it that way..

i feel our guys are equal to the task when it comes to bodykits.. the reason we see a lot of hmmm how i can i put it delicatly....as one has already said "budu ammmmoooo" kits is because they them selves wanted it that way i guess.. when i got mine done... they pretty much did what i told them to do.. but they did have some wacky ideas like putting a bonnet scoop and stuff.. which i thought was completely ludacris for a NA car....

got mine done at vonmek. they do listen to u.. but they do throw in thier ideas as well.. but finally its what u want... u can try there.. or u can try wow body kits in boralasgamuwa.

well if its an astina.. we here at the club can help u out.. and i am sure for the CRX it will be the same from our honda boys..

well ui guess its a must that i must comment... owning and maintaining an astina for 7 years and using it as a daily driver.. with a very good tune up and moderate driving u can get around 10 max per a liter... abuot handling i dont know if its me.. but the astina seems to be grounded on corners a little but more than the CRX that i drove.. think its because of the weight factor.. astina is heavier.. about the parts.. yes some parts are harder to find, but so is the CRX parts.. but since the astina shares a common platform with the popular 323 i found it to be ok... and the popup lights hardly fail... face it the car i have now is 20 years old and i have never replaced the headlights.. CRX is lighter and yes should be faster than a normal astina... handling i am little effi on that.. guess u cant compare since mine is a little lower and the tires are a little wider... but sharky its up to u... again the differnce would be acuatlly on the seating... and yes suspention is a little better on the astina as it was meant as a family car..

there are other factors that affect the consumpution... if u drive hard u wont get the same consumption.. tire pressure also affects...

well do u want an fully aerodynamic kit... that will cost u.. but if not try wow body kits.

guys there are silver ones... but i still couldnt find a gold one.,. by gold i mean kind of changpangeish color.. saw one at the CMSC rally finale in excel world.... anyone know where this car might be lurking.. dont think the rental places have it....
