  1. You can use one of the two tire sizes indicated. Your tire pressures all around are supposed to be 210kPa, which is the equivalent of 30psi. The tire size on the center section is the spare tire size i.e. gal tire, which is identified by the very narrow width of 125mm. The D stands for diagonal belt pattern, as opposed to R for radial, which is what most of us use.
  2. This clicking sound was prevalent in my Townace as well, a relay rapidly clicking. It was related to the A/C, a bad relay on the thermostat side operating the compressor clutch. I'm not sure what we did to fix it, either the relay was replaced or the thermostat.
  3. I suggest you check the old threads before posting new ones. There are enough threads for seat covers.
  4. Bought a hybrid corolla and converted to a thel higanna.
  5. That is a highly sexist post. My dad prefers auto because his legs aren't what it used to be. I have a disabled friend who can only drive auto. All new Ferraris and Lamborghinis are auto, as are 90% super cars that are coming out. Porsche's GT3 is auto from the 991 onwards. And before anyone begins explaining to me that they're automated manuals etc etc, heed this; if the car can shift gears for you, it's an auto.
  6. I drove a 2008 Camry across a few states while I was living in the...States. I think it's a brilliant car for spending time in, the seats are really supportive and there isn't much fatigue even after driving for 5 hours straight (I usually suffer from numb shoulders and neck stiffness after long drives). It has things like rear a/c, tons of storage pockets, and great visibility. As far as driving 'pleasure' goes...there isn't much. This car is primarily a family mover, and geared to be as such, which means focus is more on things like practicality and comfort. If you want a good drive, consider a rear wheel drive car like the Mark X, Mark 2, Verossa or Altezza.
  7. I considered one for all of 2 minutes, because the rear and the hips remind me of a Ford Fiesta.
  8. Oh I would recommend the Aqua as well. The firmware has been updated for 2015 and transitions between ICE and electric are even smoother, plus it has all the Safety Sense C goodies as well. The only downside is lack of cruise control. I don't know if retrofitting it is possible with Aqua as it is with the Prius C.
  9. I came up with it, because the centere console is touch sensitive, thus unless your muscle memory is so good that your finger naturally falls on the correct spot, you have no idea what control you're operating (assuming you want to keep your eyes on the road, which I do).
  10. The GP5 (and Vezel/Grace) also has a hidden feature called centre console roulette. This is because due to the lack of physical buttons, you have no fkn idea what you're pressing, since you can't feel your way around the center console.
  11. Tired of it already? When I can go at least 550+kms on 30 litres of fuel? Hell no, Thel Higanna Level 3 yo.
  12. Engine lubrication is overrated. Walk on the wild side, I say.
  13. To all the 'Victims' of the hybrid tax increase, there's a Toyota Corolla Axio Hybrid G for sale. Metlic Brown, Full opsun, scoop light, nikel door handel, beige sheets, fully loded, auto radar break, acpmpwwtfbbqroflcopter, only done 2300kms, starling worenty, 62 laks. mint conditon, only washed twice.
  14. Has anyone managed to take a closer look at the Honda S660 on Dutugemunu Street? I _really_ like the way it looks, having been a major fan of the Beat.

  15. It is always prudent to read the entire fkn thread before making a post. Because then you'll know he's already bought a car and happy with it. Just saying.
  16. In that case, the same happened with my Vios as well. I chalked it up to the pads being worn one way, so they're less effective in reverse. But then I only reverse my car once a day, so I dunno if it continues after the first minute.
  17. When the brakes are weak, is the pedal hard or spongy, or is there no difference? And is it only in reverse they appear to be weak?
  18. I searched and translated the Toyota Japan site. All they have are the traditional Japanese lace half covers.
  19. Congrats on your first car! Since you won't be using it much, make sure to check fluids, battery and tires before you take the car out for the first time when you come home during each leave.
  20. I too was looking for seat covers, but I really needed them. However the front seats have air bags, so instead I scotchgarded most of the interior. The Prius belonging to the OP also has them; so with those nifty seat covers, they will either completely fail to deploy, or will deploy incorrectly. Darwin award contender.
  21. Anyone noticed the bug in the main page where the makes are listed below? The count in parenthesis does not match the number of ads. Currently it shows there's an Alfa in the listing, but the page is empty.

i cant do searches.. i get 0 results

  22. Google translate is saying your key's battery is dead. I didn't know the car actually told you this. Nice feature to have.
  23. I believe this thread has now lost the plot, and is better suited for elakiri.
  24. This is my take on it as well. But no one in my office agrees with me, they're too blinded by the juiciness of political controversy and conspiracy theory to be realistic.
