    Supra Vs Lambo

Yes it's a bit of a pointless topic IMO. Look at this...
  2. Oh no. I've been dreaming these days of getting an MVA. Lots of folk have been saying that they get away with sweet talk. But now I guess the cops are feeling the pinch of inflation?
  3. Good yes. But this is simply a witch hunt by the current regime against the previous. I wonder who or when someone will take to task all the corruption and illegal deals that are going on right now.

    Bmw's New M3 Saloon

Yes the 3 is such a horror. The next RS4 should be the best looking small super sedan... Doesn't stop the 3 from selling by the shiploads though
  5. They've confirmed that it will be FR layout. . Usually phoshops and sketches look better than the actual product as the artist get adventurous and does not need to be too strict on practicality. That's why I worry when I see this
  6. Is that a mistake or does it just confirm that whoever wrote this crap review knows nothing about a high performance supercar?
  7. While I have deep respect for Porsche and dream about buying a used Boxter (not all Porker have their engines hanging out in their tails -darkrazyman20 and the boxter is THE best car I've driven ever!) in SL someday, it's Ferrari that gets my pulse racing at crazy pace. The looks, the noise, the drama makes Porsches look terribly boring in comparison. Both have enviable racing history are and in a rarified circle with only Alfa Romeo as the only other member. But at the end of the day there isn't anything quite as magnetic as a red Ferrari. Never driven one though.....
  8. IMHO there's nothing special about the design. And especially since this is only a photoshop it's a bit worrying. It's looks a bit of a squared off and ugly-fied 350Z. I really wish they stuck to a mid-engined car though. Talking about CRX...that recent concept car looked good I thought. certainly better than this!

    Lamborghini Estoque

What's the Reventon to me? It's an extremely expensive body kit that ruined the purity of the LP640. Inspired by a Jet fighter, but why did they have to choose one of the ugliest - the F22 Raptor. And that interior is bordering on Gimmicky....after all it's not a plane. Mean. Yes. But hardly ground breaking in design like the Miura, Countache, Diablo, Murcielago..... They've just added a load of edges to the Murc as far as I can see. I can imagine the taste and relervance of the purchase of most of the 20 buyers .... That says a lot about the aim of project

Your right HellRazor. I need a Lambo to be Dramatic. Make jaws dop. This one is a bit too predictable. For me the Murc is the end of an era. Audi seem to be sanitising things a bit too much. They need to add a lot more madness! The DB5 oh wow....Now that is one of the most beautiful cars in the world, let alone the most beautiful Aston of all time. No surprises as it was the work of Carrozeria Touring of Milan!
  11. Things are getting a bit ugly aren't they? Our country seems to heading into a very scary phase. My pet conspiracy theory on all what's happening now is that soon Eelam (of course they won't use that name) will be given to Inida who will form/have already formed alliances with the TMVP and whatever evolves from the LTTE.

    Lamborghini Estoque

Yeah that DB9 theme as beautiful as it is....is getting a wee bit too familiar I think. I quite like the Aston names of the past like Vantage, Volante and Vanquish. But Rapide..............hmmm does not sound good. Actually they had registered the Rapide name way back in the late 60's I believe. Rover wanted to call the top of the range SD1 Rapide but had to settle for Vitesse (which IMHO sounds a lot better) instead as Aston had the rights.

    Like these ?
  14. Not sure mate. Must have sold most of them in the Asian and Korean championships.

    Lamborghini Estoque

This is surely a photoshop. The test mules indicate poor proportions. Looking at the Cayenne I tend to have my expectations low.
  16. Interesting to learn that there are a few here..... Yes. I want a new(ish) one. Have spent too much time and money on old Alfa Romeos to go through the same with bikes Anyway I'm not very much into bikes and have a lot to learn. Had just one when I was 18 a Honda MBX 125 for a few years, after learning to ride on a clapped out Suzuki 125 twin. Enjoyed the whole concept of virtually living on a bike but the damn thing broke down so often . Somehow I've never warmed up to Dukes for some reason. And have always thought highly of Yamahas. But after reading up a bit I had to take note of MV As 75 rider and manufacturers titles and 270+ Gran Prix wins. It's like the Alfa of bikes so it must be great. Yeah I dream of an F4. Was thrilled to see Batman (ok Bruce Wayne) ride one in The Dark Night! Once my cars are done I'll certainly look at one and will need your help for sure. Unless the stock market is very kind to me it should be at least a years time.
  17. What do you guys think of the Estoque? Better looking than the Porsche Panamera but I'm not too sure about the sound of the name......aparently someextinct bull
  18. It's called Homologation. It used to be 500 nos not sure if its still the same. Which is very small these days. They probably sell all 500 C4 WRC cars to competitors. I mean apart from the Team cars (and here too there probably are quite a few) there are the privateers. Then there are so many national rally championships. I recall the Xsara WRC was sold as a kit car. It's a shame they don't do a hot, be-spoilered, 4wd road going rally car like the Japs do. It will be such big boost to Citroen's image. I'm sure some bean counter at HQ must be chopping it off whenever it comes up for approval. The VTR is sadly just a warm hatch by today's standards.
  19. Hmm but it is so frustrating to see them mess up. Especially after the clinical efficiency we are used to seeing from the scuderia. I thought if they left Kimi out, not only would he have got into the lead, he would've got a much quicker stop. And the pace car came in one lap after the pit stop. From the lead Kimi could have put in a few very quick laps given the light load and the pace he was setting just prior to Piquets' crash and come in for a one stopper. Then the pit crew may not have been under so much pressure and maybe the mishap would not have occured. We too were talking the same about Piquet setting up Alonso's win Anyway as Luca Di Monto has pointed out the Singapore street circuit is flawed by not having eoungh run off areas which mean for every little nudge the pace car will have to come and alter the race. I hope Kimi will bounce back. I'm a bit worried that he's said that his favourite passtime is SLEEPING!!!!
  20. Wow now that is news indeed. I only knew of a Duke that raced in the 70's and located the owner.
  21. Guys I think its a bit unfair on Loeb's genius to brand him boring. Just like Schuey in F1 this is amazing history being written by Loeb and Citroen. I really count myself lucky to live in an era when so many legends were created. MS, Senna, Rossi and quite possibly Loeb. I know it can be boring to see the same guy over and over again spraying the champaigne but just imagine the hard work that goes behind the scene to ensure that everything is tip top.... The only thing that cheeses me off is that Citroen does not do a road car that does justice to all that glory. A wasted marketing opportunity...
  22. Not as old as me But yes good to know that there are some Joes on the forum.
  23. Wow lucky you. The Aprillia looks fab. I want to get a bike after my cars are done. Do you think there are any MV A s in SL? Yep there's a walk on sometime this month. Will check the exact date.
  24. Hi HelRazor Great collection your dad has got. How long has he had them? Is he a member of the Classic Car Club? Btw two of the logos from your signature interests me. Have you got an Italian bike? And the 2nd one is my school as well !
  25. It was such a disaster for Ferrari. Anyway I've been totally cheesed off with their double pits stop strategy. Not only do they put unnecessary pressure on the pit crew. They also compromise the 2nd drivers position. It just does not make any sense to me. Worst of all in Singapore they were not watching the track being cleared close enough. And then Kimi had to screw up the little chance they had. I'm beginning to think they've made a hasty decision in signing him for two more years. Looks a tough ask for Massa to claw back now. But I wish things go down to the last race, just like last year! Anyway it was nice to see everyones' favourite glum faced winger on the top podium again. And great drive by Nico.!!
