  2. High powered version supposed to be for the JDM market. In the US this will be under Scion as a FR-S. Production version is in the 2,600 lb range.
  3. Mine's a 1938 Cadillac...
  4. I bet the prices are stiff.
  5. You should follow the severe service schedule in SL. As for oil, 10w40 to 15w40. If you're in a hot hilly area you can go with 20 weight. FYI. Lower the number thinner the oil. If my memory serve me right, the first number is when the oil is at operating temperature and the second is when it's 'cold' Factory will often recommend the thinnest oil they can get away with since they are trying to hit an emissions target.
  6. There is a dye that they can add in with the gas to show any slow leaks. I would also make sure that there is enough oil in the compressor since you don't know how long the previous owner was driving without it working. Best option is probably to get the whole thing serviced.
  7. In my honest opinion, it's a POS. Driven a rental for couple of days and it was less than ideal.

  9. Prius.
  10. Ripper, To get this started, I hope you don't mind me posting this of our last outing.
  11. Oh they are absolutely fabulous! That said, I doubt she'll let some snot nose punk suck on them so you'll have to revert back and picking up your mama's pair from the floor, dust them off and see if they got any potential.
  12. You question other people's education and come up with this double negative BS. Question your own level of education first. Secondly, you're more than happy to apply the BS argument about ‘if one vehicle is bad then the rest of the lineup is also bad from the same manufacturer’. Then on the very next breath you talk about not knowing anything about dirt bikes. Applying your logic, if a dirt bike is made by Kawi shouldn’t your dumb logic apply to both the street and dirt versions too? Go back to sucking on your mama tits and let the grownups have a conversation.
  13. Well shit! Check out the size of this E Dick.... I predict at least 1 week of pure comedy to follow.
  14. I'm I being pushy? mah bad... I'm just glowing with excitement in anticipation of whats to come
  15. Can't see the point in putting a V6 and supercharging it when you can just get the 3SGTE car and up the boost. Easy simple mod that will walk your V6 with a SC all day long and twice on Sundays and to top that off for half the cost without screwing up the balance of the car not to mention the 3SGTE is a bulletproof engine.
  16. r6 Cool... can't wait to see them. Which organization do you race with and what's your number?
  17. Fabulous.... r6 - post some pictures of your racing ventures on the other thread homey. We are all waiting to see them.

Can't speak for some of the other guys here but I consider myself as being highly edumecated. I have no less than 20 years of formal education since I've graduated 10th grade twice.

  20. What organization do you race with? Post some pictures from your track events. So far we've only seen just your street bikes.
  21. Blkr6, What type of racing do you participate in? Are you talking about track days or actual racing with points and a purse involved? If your bike spends more time doing burnouts and wheelies than it does in an actual road race track, most of your points are invalid. If you're pulling a lot of wheelies what do you think is happening to the oil in the engine when your front wheels are pointing in the air? Some of the issues you've described are not unique to one make. Some of us could be speaking from experience too......... ya know.
