Urgent Help Needed To Find A Mazda Bhalp(1996) Auto Gearbox
mazdaspeed replied to samiram's topic in MAZDA
Mazna Motors is the preferred location, Alternatively there is a place on high-level road (opposite Sujatha/Petrol shed) and they have gear boxes. Is your side a basic auto or a tiptronic ? If it’s the later – U need some serious luck to get hold of one. A basic auto will set you back 50,000/- or so + fixing up etc. Dropped u a PM -
Offf with his ............

Yes indeed – makes me wanna shoot the wanker Told one goof to remove a Stupid Prius badge ( the blue logo) off his car - a Axcela at the garage I go to. Ya I Know it’s his freeking car but there’s a level of stupidity you can tolerate

There’s a saying “The known devil is better than the unknown angel” I just hope that the new agent will do some just to a very good brand. Good luck Colonial motors – Will back you guys up, just make sure you do justice to the band and the profits will follow . PS . Like of the members have stated, get some good mechanics.

mazdaspeed replied to Tharindu1's topic in General Automotive
Cutting connectors or color coded wires whatever it may be – this mix up is not what you want to hear been done by Gi*Ber* & Sons who claim to have years of experience in sound subject -
Thanks a lot for the update, I recently got to know abt the Rajagiriya A*W service centre, so will be taking it there for the next one. Did the past 2 at Pit stop.

Unfortunately there not a huge gain in fuel efficiency , I have a feeling I need to do a proper scan and see, planning to take her in for towards the weekend. There culd be another issue . The place is professional like D*MO, many other forum members have had good results, I for one am satisfied as I feel a big improvements in pulling power which was sluggish earlier. I’ve learned that there are a few more places that use the proper equipment to clean injectors – so there are options out there but need to be catious I suppose

An update ! Too the car to Asnu Lanka yesterday , must say it was a great experience, very professional . The whole process took some time as I went a bit late but should take about 2/3 hrs. He explained about the right way to clean and how injectors functioned as well. There’s heaps of info on the process in picture format at his place and also on the website www.asnulanka.com ,cost was abt 7000/- as I had to replace several O rings. The throttle body was also cleaned and serviced. Since the plugs were new, didn’t need replacing. Results : yet to see the fuel consumption but there a much better pulling power , will share the fuel status during the next week. As per him there are only 2 locations who has this equipment – D*MO & Asnu

also try Asnu Lanka - Thalangama - 0727040302 Planing to go there myself this weekend, shall update many members have recomended him very highly

The same has been discussed several times , pls do a search on the same. All in all it’s a great card and has no major issues when you compare the other options such as Toyota, Nissan etc. Fuel will be less than the Totota’s but driving pleasure will surpass the Toyota by far.

Mazda Axela Or Corolla 121,plz Help Me!!!!
mazdaspeed replied to alpha17's topic in General Automotive
If at all the 3 May be having a bit more ground clearance than the Axcela - which is good - Other than that I think all have answered the questions already. The only edge the 121 will have over the Mazda is the fuel consumption rest is either equal or far better. Enough & more parts and freely available -
Gice a call to da Saranankara fellow - Inate graphics I think his name is

I was talking in general - I did'nt intend that the Payagala case was due to Driving school not doing it's job - Y do u own one ?????? But it all boils down to haphazard issuing of licenses – U can get a license without going for a test U know how hard it’s to get a license in another country ?
-
I for don’t agree that speed & good roads are the main reason for the same, I too saw the article & the news on TV – clearly Stupidity, Carelessness , not knowing basic road rules. The sad part is about the Payagala incident – Apparently a top politica’s sisters son had been driving . knocked down 3 people in a row before coming to a stop. Driving schools & the whole license issuing process is to be blamed. My view

I've had the car for about 1 year and up to now no issues - I've had it on the front grill so it's in direct contact with the elements.
-
You wont get the exact thing but there is a place (Finally) that has some carbon fiber sticker available. U need to cut it or get a professional to do it. I did my door panels & from grill by my self and it came up well. Did screw up 3 times but then learned how to. U get it In black, while & even gold – a 1foot (Width) is about 280/- or so. Place : Check Shanthi Plastics – Mt. Lavina ( Opposite Sleek saloon/ court complex) Good luck and post some pics
-
Problem is will they check the same on busses ????? Fore sure all car with beat's are going to get hassled even the ones which are legal & below the required level e.g stock Subaru's etc... Ur likely to get stopped by some dumb ass cop saying the exhaust is too loud – The ears of the cops have built in decibels reading capabilities – so he can tell the difference between what’s legal or not
-
I',m in too
-
Take care on who u show this to- there are lots of Maka Bas fellows out there. - I too feel that the issue could be with worn out clutch rings - Better get it checked trough a good place.

The Interplay is a sought After car and it’s hard to get your hands on a decent one these days. It’s a 1.5CC DOCH engine with fuel injection so tends to be good on fuel but more fun to drive as the performance is simply great. Parts are available but sourcing them is getting harder as even Japan are running out on same due to the period. Both options will have what you are looking for e.g Power steering, power shutters etc…. the 323 is designed for the export market so u may find a 1.6 cc engine. The butterfly ( 95 model onwards ) light model cam e with a Intertplay X version and was the last of the interplay branding. All in all servicing and spares are not a major problem, fuel consumption would vary but in the range of 8 -10 KMP/L on a 1.5cc – best to avoid the 1.3cc and stay clear from GAS converted cards as they are know to have heaps of issues. Good luck and PM me if you need more help

Enter de silva road from either the kalubowila hospital side or form Dutugamunu street (Near Lucus service Station) drive till you come to a large factory gate just pass that you will find 2 cream colored roller gates – that’s the place. Sorry don’t have the number. It’s your decision and all the jazz – hence trust you would do the correct reading like crosswind has put it

You see a lot of pick ups now coming in from UK – Most of these vehicles have rust and was discussed earlier in the forum. A car was joint that I patronize quite often had a Navara ( Hoped I spelled the correctly ) apparently the chassis had corrosion but what they do is do a good wash and then give it a good under cote treatment. I think this would help – and there shouldn’t be any issues after that right ? Any one with ideas on the process and specially will a buyers of these vehicles have any further issues ?

Odometer Resetting By Used Car Sellers (My Experiance)
mazdaspeed replied to iPrabhath's topic in General Automotive
Agree that gauging a car mileage is hard now; not just with used cars but even unregistered ones. A car with high mileage with maintenance records would be a better buys, but these cars won’t come by if you go to a car sales joint easily. Another way to get the mileage is to see if the emission papers are available -
On the topic of patches…..(Bit off) Try to avoid the patch they do by inserting that rubber/ whatever they call it type you have in the pic. Best is to go for a heated patch – most repair shops don’t like to do it as it’s cumber sum & takes a long time. One tyre seller advised me on the same as they plug method uses a sharp pin kin of instrument to make a hole in the tyre to insert the plug – this tends to damage the threads inside the rubber or “Kammbi” best known.
