Guys, we should learn to respect elders, specially very old ppl like Sylvi. I feel so sorry abt the old bugger. At least if I'm correct he is the eldest member of the AL. Poor guy might end up in a heart attack
Hi Guys,

Does someone baught any thing related to Remote Controls. I'm thinking of buying a RC transmitter and a reciver, bt ppl say that customs will detain such items, saying such items are not allowed. Is it true?
Hi Guys,
A friend of mine told me that pay pal do not recognize Sri Lanka as a "Pay Pal Valid country/ Address". So some sellers do not accept payments made through pay pal for a Sri Lankan address. Is it true? (I never had any experience with e-bay so far... )
It seems due to high taxes Micro cars have gained the best of it. Today I went to their showroom @ Kotta Rd and found they have released a new sedan called Micro Mx7 Mark II for around 2.25 Mil. With the high tax rates on imports, these vehicles would gain the maximum benifit.
Yap. They says bigger engines tends to Pollute more. But the funny thing is then put the impose only in the local assemblies. Not the imports, event the recondition ones.
There was a Land Rover and Jaguar Assembly projects in SL few months time back. Bt not sure whether they are still functional, special after Minister Champika's policy to only allow below 2000 cc vehicles to assemble in SL, which stopped assemmbling Rexton in SL too.
What was the best option considering the Indian alternatives, is it better to go for a Micro Trend or New Micro privilege than going for an Alto or a Maruti 800?
Hi,
I don't know whether this would help, but mine is a 1996 Mazda BG3P (1300 CC), and it does around 11-11.5 in Colombo.
And does anyone know a good place to tune my car? I think fuel consumption can be improved a bit more since I felt like it emits little amount of Carbon.
Thought of having some fun in Gall Rd from Colombo to Mathara on April 14, hoping there want be many vehicles in the road. Good to know that the law is still functional.
Hi Guys,
Does the speed limits law have been revalidated? I know some time back courts make an order to make that law invalid due to different speed limits put by police as they wanted. Does the law have been revalidated?
A friend of mine told me that they stopped assembling Rexton Jeeps, because the Govt banned assembling luxury diesel vehicles which is over 2000 CC, thanks to Mr. Champika Ranawaa . Rexton is 2700 C.
WTL is Wasana Trating Co. LTD. So mostly the quality would be the same quality as their existing vehicles.
And also I've seen a Ambulance marked as MICRO, a diesel van. It got the same look like Toyota Hiace Dolphin Van. I think they first issue these van to Govt institiues to check. Any one have any idea abt this Micro Van?
