  1. This could be a possibility. BTW did you do the tune-up as suggested after the 1st incident? To see the full effect petrol/air filters change, spark plug clean, injector clean all needs to be done isn't it? Are you getting any "Engine check" errors?
  2. Since you talk about beat I think you wanna to get the this "pata pata noice". If this is your daily ride or use for longer travel it will be very hectic and disturbing noice. And you will get fed-up pretty soon. Once went to Colombo and return to Kandy in mid night in a CRX with a performance muffler. And I was in that small back seat in most of the time.. It was the fastest I came Colombo - Kandy took about one hour and 30 minutes. But I was the most tiring ride as well.
  3. Ofcause body kits are out of fashion but restoring is way forward I guess. The reason for I asked the Mugen exhaust is that in case if the current muffler got damaged in my Honda to see the possibility of going for orginal Honda/or Mugen muffler without going for generic stuff.
  4. What are the branded available here and the price range? Do we have original Mugen exhoust systems here for Honda.
  5. It is justifiable as there is a demand to buy that car for the price you've given here. If there is no demand then price will eventually come down. But if somebody wants to rebel and people are ready to stay away from buying all this imports for 3 months GO AHEAD I am ok with that too. Infact I would love to see that happen.
  6. hay boy.. anybody will become a Man from a Boy but quality of the Man is meassured in how courageous in times of real discomfort and real danger. Wise man once said It is courage that makes you to stand up and speak .. and courage is also what it makes you to sit down and listen... I've seen so many forums in Sri Lanka.. But this forum is really stand out of the rest in terms of the standard of the people who contribute to this.. So options is with you either be a real man or just a nother wasted soul
  7. Thanks it is helpful. I am gonna try that out. I think we need to have .csv file exactly matches with the contacts fields we have in our mobile phone (home, mobile, genaral, fax, email, etc). Then if we import .csv file it should work. Difficuit part for me is to create .csv file since i don't have contact list any more, only the .nbu (backup) file. I'll export that and try to create .csv file and see. Thanks for the clues.
  8. Yes contacts are their in back up file. I can view them when i open it as a txt file. I don't have old phone (5800) with me any more. Just got cotacts in to a back up file some time back using PC suit. Now i want to import same contact list to new phone (C5)
  9. Does Allion has Auto/CVT only.. any manual gear boxes in early models of Allion 2001???
  10. hmm I get 60Kmph with 1500 - 1600 rpm in 5th gear and while ECONO mode on in D15B. Any other Allion users on this?
  11. I am kinda like it ... You'll be able to get this kind of thing done by most of the placed that fix navigation, sound systems, etc.
  12. phone swith is there I has 3 options syncronize, send, retrive requesting to on Bluetooth on both phone. I don't have another phone I have only the backup fine in laptop. Can I use laptop bluetooth feature for this.. but then how will it recognize the back file in computer?
  13. In simple terms 1M - 1.6M or YOM 1990 - 2000/2 does not have major impact from the tax reduction.
  14. Hi guys. today I got new Nokia C5 phone. I have an issue in getting my old contact back up file transferred to new phone. Previous file is created by Nokia 5800. I have installed latest PC suit. When the file imported it says 0 contacts transferred. Check many sites but nothing helpful found on this.
  15. I was talking about 1.5M market. it is highly unlikely that 121 will come down to 1.6M - 1.7M range in near future. After 3 months of the tax reduction no noticable change in 1M - 1.5M price range. Thare about 5% - 10% reduction in 2M range. But it is not the most attractive market for middle class people who can spend maximum 1.5M for a car. This is also the includes group that buy the Brand new Marutis. So what ever the cascade effect will not come down to 1.5M and below range as expected by some of us. So if you are already paying for the housing loan and just manged to save few hundred thousands and hoping to buy 110 for 8 laks. You have wait some more months.. or couple of years IMO. But lets see another 3 months.
  16. Even for fast moving Japs in below 1.5 - 1.6M market will not crash actually. There wont be recon 1995 - 2005 imports due to YOM restrictions. So what ever the price changes in this market will not have major impact even after another 3 months I guess.

    Seat Belt

    Will engine scan detect this?

    Seat Belt

I think anybody who buy new used car should do full engine scan and check for all alamrs, even there are no alarms / check light on. couple of weeks ago I met a friend who has bought a load of crap without doing a proper check. It was a Hyundai Accsent.. does only 7/8 Kmpl. lots of alarms, etc. Seller has removed dashboard lights before sell.
  19. Adding to same.. If a car/bike imported for racing purposes only, doesn't it need to follow normal vehicle registration process?
  20. I am not trying to be political here. But we need to be practical. Normal law in the country will not apply to Politikko in a country like this. There are so many examples to share.. but one basic example about the same person is that he hold MP position and Playing for Sri Lankan Navy Rugby team.. when he is not even a member of Navy.
  21. At least for some of the Brands.. who knows if Italian Job 3 or F&F comes with a fleet of Maruti with wings and 16' alloys or even a 110
  22. Though site says JDM these manuals are for US and Canada isn't it. I got this manual already but couldn't find exact one for my engine. The honda Civic manual here is for D16----- series SOHC engines. But mine is D15B SOHC.
  23. I was thinking it now high time for me to do next tune up and clean with Wurth fuel system cleaner. Is it bad thing to do compare to not doing any thing at all?
  24. As far as i know both engine flush and radiator flush are not compulsory if you do routing maintenance properly. I don't have any personal experience or incidents that flushing has damaged vehicles, but there are plenty of examples car have been used for more than 20 years or so without single engine flush still going smoothly. Practically it can harm your vehicle. The deposits over the period of time in your car will loosen up and can go to other parts of the engine and block the small areas and reduce the lubrication of that. Edit : check this link available on internet , Honda, Nissan, GM and Ford statements on engine flush. None if them recommend. http://media.nbcbayarea.com/documents/Hond...d+Documents.pdf
  25. If its Not broken, Don't fix it. If you do regular oil change and filter changes on time no need to worry about it.
