If they are not advertised as Vi, the chances are both Exi. You can identify 2 VTEC solenoids in engine, S1 S2 & D switches in steering wheel (99/00 model). And you can see model is embedded in blue colour plate in engine bay. It says "Type Vi"

So its not a technical issue then. If you have the money go check it out. There are only 2 SiR I've seen. This one and the white one.

That's something to worry about. Two owners try to sell the same car with in few days after they bought it? So with original sale now it's waiting 3rd sale with in a month may be?

I've never .. ever has put in to 1st gear when the vehicle is on move even around 5kmph. may be i've put in to 1st gear around 0.5-1 Kmph in traffic jams. I always had the feeling I shouldn't even try to put in to 1st gear when vehicle is moving

Not many Manual Vi for sale these days. But If you check Honda Club FB page cars popping up once in a while. Be extreamly cautious though because some people try to make easy money doing broker work and you might end up paying way over the real value of the car. You will be able to find 96-98 model manual Vi around 1.5K - 1.7K which i believe best suits for you. LEV model is not vtec. Original ViRS logo should come in the centre console and in dash as well. Never driven a Vi-RS but I will always prefer manual Vi over auto Vi-RS. There is nothing like down shifting and getting power when needed. Edit - And you will not have to worry about Multimatic gear box problems.

Si / SiR is highest performance oriented version of KE3, came with B16A engine. Si is USDM version SiR is JDM version (Correct me here if I am wrong) VTi - Same as Vi which is JDM D15B VTEC version. This is Singapore version.

YES, and it is OBVIOUS for any car irrespective of transmission. (aggressive acceleration and braking) Not all automatics give less fuel economy than manul car. At least not when me and some of our forum members deside to take control over the machine and put our self in to test. Some times our manual cars very hungry on fuel than your auto.

Guys, I thought of sharing two observations while I service my car at Automiraj Nawala today morning. First incident was pure careless handling of one car. The foreman reversed a car from washing area knocked the side of the front bumper. It created about 2cm patch on the bumper and worst is I saw the plastic shell is broken from where it fixed and come out. The owner wasn’t around and that guy moved to car another side and went without doing anything about it. The other one is that my car had worn out rear brake shoes and needed urgent replacement. I didn’t change them as car wasn’t used and parked for last two months. They removed the drum cleaned it fixed again. But I wasn’t informed about worn out brake shoes. Moral of the story.. God bless those who leave their vehicles at service stations thinking those people will take good care of the car and advise you on routing maintenance.

As far as I can see it all these sudden news are “chanda gundu” or well planned PR campaigns by Gov it self. When water becomes still and clear people start seeing deep inside so they talking about corruption, inflation, law & justice of the country. Then someone put a stone to the water and everything gets blurred again. Now we happily watching the ripples and forget what we saw in the clear water. From free trade zone case, weliweriya, to deaths/accidents of university union leaders to ruggerite, then capturing containers loads of alcohol to heroin and issuing letters to release them, and missing them under police custody, again living with Rs.2500 and cancel grade 5 scholarship, raping tourists and children by provincial council members… even a referee cancel a knock forward giving by him after he was approached by a player and offer a try to Navy team… all these drama happening in the country and both villain and hero in government. These things will keep people amused so they don’t bother about what they see in the clear water.

Quick question, did you change the exchange the tyres after the alignment? If you had the problem sometime, your tyres may already have uneven wear over the period. Just exchange your tyres and observe any change in the pattern.

What is the tax percentage is like? And did you check out the JVC KD-AVX77 its fully touch operating single din player. Not over sized.
