hi guys... i took the car to Stafford motors... it was a timing issue & they adjusted it free of charge.... now it runs well :-) thanks everyone

Hi, i changed the timing belt, oil seals, engine oil, ATF & replaced rear shocks & swing arm bushes during the past few weeks.. :-) and it was running superbly... as for the alloys.... well this noise was there (a little) before the alloys was changed also....

CV - ARE OK SUSPENSION ARMS - ARE OK BREAK PADS NEEDS TO BE REPLACED - BUT THIS IS NOT WHEN BREAKING... ONLY WHEN I TRY TO ACCEL QUICKLY....MOSTLY UP HILL

Engine mount was replaced abt 2 weeks back & it was running very smoothly..... only thing i changed after that was Alloys & Tyres....

im sure it's not from the wheels......it's deff not a wheel hum

Things might be chaning... but the Korean car i think has a long way to go... I agree that most of them are nicely designed & has loads of toys...etc... but the build quality comes into play after a few years....

You can get a very good condition EK3 (99 or 00 Model) in this range...

Hi..... take my word .. do not go for Korean cars... they are not @ all hardy....i have had first hand experience... I bought a unregistered accent & used it for 15 months before i sold it... so many repairs & not @ all fun to drive... maybe the one i got was hacked or maybe cos i went from a 9 year old Civic EG8 to a 2 year old Accent :-) ... but it had done only 22,000KM when i got it and still the 9 year old Civic which had done 175,000KM was much better Stick to Jap cars.....

By the way i currently have GT... but there's a lot of road noise from them....& cos the profile is 70, the handling isn't that good either
