Mate, its my local maxxis agent at Horana.(sena tyre) They had only 2 tyres left and I got them for old price with 40% discount(12000). Then i had to go to tyre house (maxxis importer) to get other two for new price(12500 each).Its 195/55-15. Actually i dont hav the num right now but might be available at maxxislk site. I think best bet would be to visit tyre house at panchikawatta or order a set via your nearest maxxis agent. If i remember right theres a agent near nugegoda, between kohuwala junction and hospital.(Cant remember the name).

Yes mate im using MA-z1 victra (post 25 of this thread). Its real value for money. It has excelent dry and wet grip as im daily travelling about 10km of real twisty road along A8(Panadura - Rathnapura) and got good online reveiws as well. I got 40% discount from the local agent. But only issue was that they were the only tyres left with the agent about 1month back(I had to go to Tyre house warehouse at panchikawatta to get them and they said its the last of the stock and told me that new shipment of tyres will arrive in 2weeks with very few Maz 1).

Machan who was there when you call them?. Unlike attidiya place, these people dont know the specific details(except one guy). Most of the time their answere was no over the phone but still its possible to find one . I'll try to go there tomorrow and have a look.

Absolutely mate!. I was in a similar situation about 2ys back and got hold of an Eg for 8.25. Now ive enough funds for an upgrade, but cant even think of letting her go. As miniace said try to find a unmolested one with clean interior .

komi,machan i just saw this thread and its really unfair to give such generalized comments. Being a Doctor doesnt change the love and passion for automotive stuff ,usually comes from younger days. Its true that most of docs use their cars to travel from A to B ,but there are people like komi, myself in the other extreme, where we still find time for DIYs ,customizations,etc.

Amila is the place to go if you are looking for new rims. I just bought ultra light advanti racing 15 rims for 19k. They are agents for dunlop too. If you dont mind taiwan tyre, check Maxxis also. I got a really god deal from maxxis( though they are 195/55/15) for 12000.

Mate, my mechanic is superb, but his garage is at Horana. There are few honda guys around colombo like upul-malabe and waruna- kesbewa. I think you can find futher details by searching a bit, as this topic has been discussed before.

How is the condition of the petrol tank?.Check for the leaks from the tank & also check the petrol lines connecting to petrol pump(situated in the engine bay just in between carb and engine) and carb. I think your eg need a proper tuneup including a carb repair.Theres a repair kit available at tech motors includes all the packings,springs,jet,etc..which costs around 2-3k. Its better you can find a guy who knows D15b3 carb cause its a bit complicated one with stuff like power valve, thermo valve,auto choke and lot of vacum lines.

In my CRM its mentioned as original in section 4 and actually its wrong!
